6 Months Later

I never took Jake back and I never talked to Franklin or Henry again after that day. Jake and I eventually got on better grounds and I finally got my own room in the house. Our relationship was never the same again.

Jason and I have been getting a lot closer after my confessions to him. By a lot I mean a lot. He and I also started hanging out every Friday because football season was over and hasn't been a jerk to me at all. After that big game I got scholarship offers from 3 colleges but haven't accepted or declined any of them. After all I'm only a Sophomore.

As for the game:

And between you and me I kissed Jason one of our Friday nights under the stars like I imagined my first kiss would be like. The only thing that ruined it was that Jason told me he regretted it immediately after. Yeah not the best, not the best. That was back in March.

I learned more about Jason's family. He's an only child and his dad passed away in a plane crash. His mom has become 'Negative Nellie' since then (except her name is Linda) and hates on everything and everyone. She has also seemed to take a particular disliking for me because I'm 'messing with her boy'. Yeah he's not the only one being messed around with.

Jack has gotten much better after his injury and claims he doesn't blame me which I'm so grateful for. He applied for a prothetic leg because he lost his but is super speedy on his crutches. As for Hunter? He switched out of our school as soon as we got back from the Championship and I haven't seen him since.

Camden and Jessie have still remained close with me and are there for me whenever I need them. We hang out at my house every Wednesday night after school until 8, then they drive home. It's a pretty good system. Olivia has left me alone and her little squad but they see the least of my worries drama wise.

I eventually came out the the public that in fact I'm Samantha Carter. Let me tell you that was one hell of a month and publicity. Cameras were everywhere all the time and honestly it was terrible. Magazines like People and Daily Mail have made it their mission to track my relationships and create rumors like that. I learned to just ignore them and if I'm ever bored, I can read one and find out something new about myself. Eventually rumors about me and Franklin died out and I didn't do any conferences since the announcement of that I'm Sam.

Susan has been a huge help for me with everything. She knew about the identity (at least that's what she told me) before I told anyone send wasn't really upset with me which was a huge relief. I started teaching Avery and Maddie how to ride after school every Tuesday and Thursday and they love it.

I raced Leah and Star a few times in the past few months end both have remained undefeated. I raised the board at my barn due to the crazy amount of demand for stalls near Leah. And today is the First Saturday in May, otherwise known as the Kentucky Derby. Despite mine and Leah's undefeated records, we have 30-1 odds because we are girls. Sexist but the more money we win when Leah and I cross that line first. I'm hoping at least. Actually we don't have much of a chance but you know, it's nice to have dreams.
