IMPORTANT: Just wanted to say I was starting to absolutely hate the title so I changed it to 'Without You.' I felt it suited the story better and was shorter. Sorry if you liked the past title but I really like this one. So this book was PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS MEND A BROKEN HEART.

"Allison Carter." One woman shouts.
"Miss Carter." Another yells.
And it keeps going. The camera finally focuses on me with my wrapped arm. I smile at the screen a genuine smile and a woman reporter comes next to me. My blonde hair is darker and wet because of the Gatorade and the sweat. "Miss Carter what are your thoughts on the game?" She asks me.
"I think this was one of my best games I have had ever. The line blocked well, receivers stayed open, Mark James I must say did very well for starting his first game this season." I tell the camera.
"What do you think the difference is between you and Jason Carter playing tonight?" She asks me but looks at the camera.
"I have been starting the majority of the season and when I wasn't we had Felix Penton, the Junior Varsity quarterback playing. This was Jason's first game and I think the team wasn't used to his style."
"Now what is your relationship with Jason Carter like? Could you clear up with our viewers whether you are related to him or not?"
"We have our ups and downs in our friendship. We are not related in any way at all, I'm sure there are thousands of other Carters out there that aren't related to me."
"Will Hunter Wright be returning to the team anytime?"
"If he returns I will leave."
"How does it feel being a woman in a men's sport? Do you get any hate?"
"My team doesn't treat me any different and I don't expect anyone else to. Unfortunately I do get a lot of negative responses to my position in sports whether it be on my Twitter, Instagram, receiving random texts, or face to face."
"How was it playing with a broken arm? Did you give it second thought when Jason left?"
"It was hard, one of the harder things I have had to do but I didn't give it second thought.
"Do you know where your coach went?"
"I'm not aware, I have to go check. Thank-" I start walking away.
"One more question, Do you think your team is capable of making it to States?"
"Yes." I say shortly and the camera films me walking away as the reporter mumbles a 'Thanks'. The camera view changes to the same reporter and a man In a room.
"And that was star quarterback Allison Carter from Greenwich, New York." The man says and I turn off the television. I slowly start walking up the stairs to Jake's room which I was back to sleeping on the ground.

"Allieeeee." Avery yells and runs to me.
"Hi Avery, I missed you at the game last night." I smile at the little blonde girl in front of me while squatting down.
"Did you win? Why did you come back so late?" She asks.
