The rest of my week went well, and I was more than overjoyed that I was going to do two things during the weekend. On Thursday I was invited to a stranger's birthday party. The stranger was a girl who looked around my age, and I met her in the bathroom. I have never seen her around, but she looked so innocent. The only thing I had to worry about was the chance of her murdering me over the weekend while I am at her birthday party. She gave me her address and I rushed to tell Kevin, who didn't seem to excited for me. I should have invited him, but Allison was calling me over to talk.

She wanted to tell me that she wouldn't be able to come, handing me her tickets. She had gotten two so I decided to give one to Conner. I hoped that he and Kevin would make up, so I took the chance of inviting him. The bell that indicated it was time to go back to our classrooms  rang and everyone got up to leave. I had forgotten the paper with the girl's address and number and ran back quickly to the bathroom before class. I was stopped by her in the hallway and she smiled and introduced herself because she had forgotten earlier. "I forgot to introduce myself earlier. My name is Jessie. I can't wait 'till this weekend. Anyways, carry on with whatever you were doing." She smiled again, revealing her dimples. She had blonde hair that was tied in pigtails. Her hair was a little messy, but like fashionable at the same time. She had rosy red cheeks and her eyelashes were so long and beautiful. I honestly thought she was wearing fake eyelashes. She had a pretty baby blue dress on with a white ribbon tied around her waist. It was tied in a big bow that was so perfect. Everything about her was perfect. She had very pale skin that looked so soft. I got distracted for a moment, but once I snapped back to reality I offered her the other ticket.

She took it smiling once more than jogging off to her next class. I also jogged to my next class after retrieving the post-it note with the girl's information.

When I woke up that weekend, after a restless night of exploring the other world, I suddenly remembered the homeless girl. I decided to get ready five hours early for some reason, knowing it was about 6 A.M, so I can see if she is still there.

"Dad! Dad?" I yelled, thinking my dad was awake. He should have been awake because his work starts at 8 and he usually has to leave two hours early to get there on time. I didn't want him to be late so I ran out of my room after pulling on a sundress with my bathing suit under. "Dad..." I whispered thinking he would still be asleep, but he was putting on his shoes silently. I walked over and took a seat next to him on his bed. "Sweetie, I need to tell you something," My dad said, pulling me in closer to him after he put on his shoes. He smelt strongly of cologne, but I just ignored it. "Tom, he, he got into an accident while driving home from the grocery store late last night," My dad said, holding me tighter. "Why was he out so late, is he okay? Did he die?" I said. My father gulped and I knew something bad happened so I started to sob. "He is okay, Anne-Maria. He only broke a leg, and other than that, he had some minor injuries. Don't worry and have fun today okay?" He said, wiping the warm tears from my face. I exhaled in relief and helped wipe more tears after him. He gave me twenty dollars for food while I am gone and told me to be careful.

He left after planting a kiss on my forehead and hugging me again. I wasn't as reassured to hear the Tom got into an accident, and made it out more than alive. I was angry that he went to the store so late at night. Since his house was only at the end of our street I decided I would go over there later, knowing that he doesn't work on weekends. I made myself a sandwich and decided to make a small breakfast for the homeless woman in the small little forest. My mother bought me three different bento boxes when I turned twelve, and they all involved chopsticks. I never really learned how to eat with chopsticks until I got the cute little lunch boxes, and now I am quite the pro. I made some sticky rice and took some sushi from our town's local store and placed it beside the rice. I made sure to make it look like I had made it. Since I had been sitting around for about an hour I had gotten a little hungry again, so I packed myself some sushi and rice in another bento box.

I walked out of my house and was kindly greeted by the warm sun and cool breeze. Today is a beautiful day to go swimming at the water park.  I walked on the path until I found a little trail that seemed to lead to a clearing, the same one that the homeless person lived in. I was lucky to not be attacked by the twenty squirrels I had seen while walking off into the forest. Squirrels look very vicious, I don't know how some people think they are the cutest little animals ever. I slowly walked up to the girl sitting in front of a small little fire, with her back turned to me.

I crept up behind her and coughed, trying not to sound too creepy. She was startled and turned around quickly, threatening me with a switch-blade. I backed away, almost dropping the boxes with a delicious meal in them. She got up from her little stump that was in front of the fire and asked how I had found her. "Well, I was walking to my friends house, but then I saw the smoke and thought maybe something happened," I lied, trying to sound as believable as possible.

"Are you here to kill me? Or do things? Or report me to the police?" She asked getting closer, holding on tightly to her switchblade. I placed both of the bento boxes down. "You look really hungry, You can eat my food, I'm sure my friend can wait for me a little longer," I said, trying to smile and look as innocent as I could. A strong, cold breeze surprised us and blew out the hopeless girl's fire. She turned around to see if it was still alive and burning but dropped her switchblade and walked to the ashes. She crouched down close to the small little fire and began to blow softly. She finally got it started again after a minute or two and picked back up her switchblade.  "What is in the box?" She asked me again. I looked at the switchblade which was still directed at me, and slowly picked up one of the bento boxes. I opened it and she dropped her switchblade. I felt bad for her, I have never seen someone this excited over a bit of food.

She forcefully grabbed the box away from me and ate it with the chopsticks loudly while sitting in front of the fire. I picked up my box as she turned around to look at me. She took a break from eating and with a mouth full of food said, "Go sit on my bed, and eat." I nodded and quickly but cautiously walked to the mattress. I hope their aren't bed bugs, I thought to myself. I opened the box, placed the lid on my lap, and began to eat the rice that was still warm. I ate slower and didn't stuff my face as much as she did. It looked like she was about to choke with all of that food in her mouth. I examined her as we were eating in silence.

She had on a brown coat that had holes in it. It was also very dirty and had some red stains on it, and I doubt it was ketchup. Since the jacket was open and hanging off of her bare shoulders, you could see that she had a black tank-top on. She had on baggy jeans with holes that showed her knees. She had on old boots, and they also had holes in them. Poor girl, I thought to myself.

Once we finished she thanked me, "Thank you so much for the food, I am so thankful to be alive for this day," She paused grabbing my hand and shaking it, "May God watch over you in your future adventures." I smiled and was happy to hear that she had hope in her life. I said the same and walked away with the two empty bento boxes. I felt like a really good person and hoped that I would be able to help her throughout her struggles and support her in any way I can.
