We arrived at school and before entering the gigantic basketball area, I decided to take a short break next to a water fountain. My thirst for water was growing, so I took a few sips. I wasn't able to satisfy my thirst because of Kevin, who was tugging at my shirt.

"C'mon, we are going to be late to our stations!" He said. I turned around to see him playfully pouting. I rolled my eyes and grabbed his wrist, leading the poor little baby to our jobs.

The first hour went by just fine, and I seemed to push myself well enough, so I was able to get through our first shift. My makeup was melting off of my face, and I had began to resemble the Joker after the first shift of my job. When the next workers arrived at the carnival, under-dressed, Kevin and I were finally able to refresh ourselves with water and maybe a bit of cotton-candy.

"Hey, I am going to go to the bathroom okay?" Kevin said, I'm guessing he told me just so I wouldn't look for him after buying drinks. He gave me five dollars so I could buy myself something. I figured since he was sweating a lot, I would buy him something too.

I walked past the children that were high on sugar, screaming and yelling. I need water. The children's ear piercing screams rang through my eardrums, making it hard for me to hear. Angry siblings were arguing about silly things like, "toys and who they belong to". I need water. I slowly walked to the food stand, almost losing my balance a few times. Kevin was calling out to me, but my ears were still trying to regain their hearing abilities. I turned but only to see a soccer ball flying at me. I hate soccer balls.
