I opened my eyes after my endless sleep was interrupted. I took a deep breath, I was alive. I choked on a tube that was down my throat. Kevin ran out to get a nearby doctor. I was alive!
The doctor slowly took the thick tube that was helping me breath out of my throat and I was so happy. My mom ran through the door with the rest of my family closely following behind. My father wrapped his arms around me and cried as his fingers ran through my hair. Raina was holding a blanket wrapped around a tiny baby. She had her baby?
I started to cry as my father let me go. After a few hours of talking with my happy family and looking at my new nephew. Kevin's mother ordered him to go home with her, but he rebelled and his mom finally gave in after 5 minutes of arguing.
After everyone left and the nurses explained my position to me, Kevin was the only one left. I was to stay over night just incase something happens. "Kevin," I whispered as I pulled him in for a hug. His arms went around me and patted my upper back, comforting me. I choked on more tears as I buried my face in his neck. I was so happy that I was alive.
My adventures that I hoped were the last were scary. I never saw Kan during my time away from reality. I saw the homeless girl get shot and Jessie faint in the woods. I pushed Kevin away and said, "Kevin, Kevin I know where Jessie is!" He helped me get up and the nurse urged me to sit back down but I didn't listen.
My stomach hurt and I tried to be as careful as possible. I knew it would most likely open up, again, but we needed to tell someone where Jessie was.
The nurses followed us all the way to the street and asked me to return to bed. The sun was shining brightly, but everything was still messed up. We needed to save Jessie and the nurses needed to stay away so I could do so. I begged them and begged them but it was no use. They sent Kevin away and carried me back to the tight space I was temporarily living in, and "sent me to sleep."
