(Third person omniscient is a method of storytelling in which the narrator knows the thoughts and feelings of all of the characters in the story) *Since the dinner scene futures a lot of first time characters, in order to get the full story coverage, we must know the thoughts and feelings of almost everyone talking at the table.*
*Third person person omniscient*
Everyone is meeting and greeting with one another, as Klay and Destiny finally make their entrance. Sonya and Dell are still whispering to Tae when everyone starts clapping. YES! The golden couple has arrived. Julie and Mychal walk over to the couple and they're conversing, Both parents hug Destiny and Klay, then they keep it moving.
Julie has a confused look on her face. She's probably wondering why the hell Michelle is here with Stephen. At this point, any family member that knows of their history is wondering the same thing. Klay has completely exed out his past, making it impossible for it to come back and haunt him, but this time it did. Tae walks back over to Blake and whispers something in his ear.
"There's something you and Klay neglected to tell all of us." she says pinching his ear and dragging him to the side.
"Like what sweetness- Ow! that hurt, stop hitting me! Please baby!" He says as she hits him over and over, him flinching every time.
"You know what the hell I'm talking about you freaking jack ass!" she says hitting again in the chest.
"Ow! okay no I don't and my chest would really appreciate it if you would stop." He replies putting his hands in front of him.
"WHO TF IS MICHELLE BLAKE?" she asks a little too loud as people walking by can hear what's going on. Kobe comes out the bathroom and looks at the young couple, Tae in fighting stance, and Blake basically in a corner with his hands and one leg up in defense.
"What is this?" Kobe says pointing. Russell walks by saying,
"FREE MY NIGGA BLAKE"
Tae gives him a polite smile then turns her head back to Kobe.
"We're having an discussion." she says stepping closer to Blake and him burying his head in his arms as a reaction.
"Let him go sis." Kobe says dragging her away, and Blake practically running for his life. Poor guy. "Let's go get some punch." he says sweetly.
Tae groans, "I don't want any punch KB, I want to go back to beating up my boyfriend." after she says that, she then tries to make a run after Blake but is stopped by Devin.
"Hey beautiful." he says kissing her cheek, catching her off guard. she freezes in place and he backs up a little.
"Just kidding, give me a hug boy." she says pulling him in and embracing him fully, trying to attract Blake's attention, but instead attracted Stephen's attention away from Michelle.
His eyes burn a hole in the back of her head as she walks off with Devin. Stephen looked away and continued to converse with his parents. On the inside he's hoping that his parents like Michelle the way they liked, Tae and Ayesha. They we're actually on the subject of Ayesha when Sonya says,
"We invited Ayesha to come tonight."
His parents not knowing what happened between them was aggravating, and he secretly hoped she wouldn't show up. Michelle on the other hand is thinking about how disrespectful to their relationship it was to invite his ex wife to an event they were going to, knowing they weren't on speaking terms. Sonya and Dell we're already not addressing her existence so she figures she had nothing to lose when she blurts this out,
