Chapter 22- Truth Part. 2

*Third person person omniscient* 

Michelle notices Destiny come in out the corner of her eyes just as soon as she connects her lips with Klay's. She tries to pick up the intensity but Klay wasn't kissing back. He almost instantly pushes her back. 

"What are you doing? I'm almost a married man" Klay says wiping his mouth. Michelle looks at Destiny who is temperately in shock, and Stephen who is currently trying to stop Destiny from twitching, she decides she has nothing to lose.

"Oh papi Klay you know what you do to me!" she says throwing herself all over him. 

"Girl WHO are you talking to??" Klay says sounding a little bit offended. "Man I gotta go, you trippin." He turns around to see Destiny and Stephen behind them. Dest sticks her hand in front of him in like the stop motion, to let him know he wasn't going anywhere. 

"So you tell me to be on my best behavior at OUR engagement dinner, because your parents are here, and there's all types of people out there spilling tea interrupting our evening with family and friends-"

"Baby please let me-" Klay starts but Dest cuts him off. 

"I WASN'T FINISHED TALKING KLAY ALEXANDER! NOW, I get so tired of you trying to play the innocent card and trying to take care of everyone, I feel like the person you take the least care of is me. You're never worried about US. You get up and walk away from me to come comfort this trifling ass hoe, and she tries to take advantage of your kindness. I told you this would happen. And it's all-" She slaps Stephen in the back of the head. "Stephen's fault." 

At this point everyone hears yelling coming from the bathroom hall but no one thinks anything of it. But Tae decides to go investigate it. She walks into the bathroom to find Destiny in Klay's face yelling, Stephen rubbing the back of his head, and Michelle standing in a corner her makeup a mess.

"Who are you calling a trifling ass hoe?" Michelle asks stepping closer to everyone else. "You don't know anything about me." 

At this point Destiny has taken out her earrings and shoes and handed them to Stephen. She gets in Michelle's face. "Clearly you're a hoe. You're hear with an entirely different man and you're in here kissing MY fiance? Where we do that at? What part did I get wrong because I remember you being in a relationship with Stephen."

"I remember her being in a relationship with me too." Stephen adds, crossing his arms.

"What is this?" Tae asks looking around. "What she do this time?"

"We caught Michelle kissing Klay, and now I'm about to fuck her up, cause she know she fucked up." Destiny says moving her head side to side trying to crack her neck. 

"No let me." Tae says kicking off her shoes and lounging at Michelle. She grabs a hand full of hair and gives it one good pull screaming, "Stay away from my brother!" Then Stephen grabs her by her hips, pulling her away, basically dragging Michelle with them cause she wasn't letting go. Destiny was laughing hysterically as Klay and Stephen tried to pull them apart. When Tae and Michelle we're finally on two different sides of the room, Michelle was in tears again. 

"I don't know why you guys are making a big deal out of me and Klay when Stephen and Tae we're sneaking around the whole time! I saw them kissing in the hallway, I just didn't say anything because I knew I didn't think I deserved you. Stephen I'm sorry."Michelle says nearly choking from crying.

Klay turns his head slowly and looks at them. Destiny snickers because she knew about the kiss, but it was clear that no one informed Klay. "When was this?"

"It was only one time Klay I promise, there was no sneaking around, she's fucking her ass off because she doesn't want to get her ass beat." Tae says out of breath. 

"Oh I'm beating that ass, I'm just waiting on ya'll to finish, cause I don't jump. Ya feel me? But she tried to make a move on my man, hoe are you crazy?" Destiny says getting all hype. 

"And I think we would make a big deal out of what you did because Klay is almost a married man, you have a boyfriend, not to mention that's his best friend, and you disrespected their relationship by making a move on him at their engagement dinner, that you were barely invited to." Tae says still trying to catch her breath.

"Ok well tell me this," Michelle says fixing her hair. "If Stephen is my boyfriend, and you have a boyfriend of your own, why is his arms still wrapped around your waist? Why is he still holding you? I been saw the way you guys look at each other. But I had my eyes on another prize so I pretended not to notice."

"A prize you're about get beat for." Destiny adds, looking at her nails. Stephen and Tae break apart, clearly embarrassed. 

"Not a pretty sight for Blake out there right? I remember him in college and I rode him like a bus too." Michelle says boldly. 

"What do you mean, 'too'?" Destiny replies, standing up straight. Tae tries to grab her by the neck but, Stephen grabs on to her and holds on for dear life. Just looking at them you can feel the sexual tension in the room. Tae is still struggling to catch her breath at this point. 

"Tell her Klay." Michelle says looking at him. Everyone turns to look at Klay and the room is silent except for Tae's constant breaths.

"Apparently we have a history, me and her grew up together and I asked her out our sophomore year of high school and we stayed together until the day after draft night when I got into that car accident that blocked out most of my childhood, I didn't remembered her, and my mom never liked her, so she did everything in her power to make sure we didn't see each other. I never really remembered being in a relationship with her but I do remember her being really familiar." Klay says without stopping to take a breath. 

Tae is on the floor struggling to catch her breath and Stephen is trying to stop Dest from ripping Klay's head off. 

"I'm the love of his life. That should be me at the head of the table, that should be my fiance." Michelle says rubbing her eyes. "And the sex was fantastic back in colle-" before she could finish her sentence, Destiny had jumped all over her and was punching her all over her face and then grabbing her hair dragging her all over the bathroom lobby, before lifting her head up and kicking her in her face about 3 times. Michelle wasn't fighting back much and it didn't last that long because Stephen shouts and it scares everyone in the room. Tae wasn't conscious, passed out in Stephen's arms. 

"She's not breathing!" Stephen says picking her up bridal style. "Someone call an ambulance!" Destiny shouts into the dinning hall. Sonya, Dell , Julie and Mychel pop up quickly, and so does Blake. They see Stephen run through the long dinning room carrying Tae in his arms. Something about this scene rubs Blake the wrong way but he's still concerned for his girlfriend, causing him to sprint after Stephen. Ayesha rolls her eyes at this sight. "I told yall." she mumbles, downing the last of her wine before grabbing her purse and exiting with everyone else.

"Only family and significant other's ride in the ambulance with her." The paramedic says bluntly. 

"We're her sisters." Destiny and Taylor say in unison as they both get into the van where Tae and Stephen are. 

"I'm her boyfriend" Blake says. 

"I'm sorry Mr. Griffin, Mr. Curry already said he was the patients boyfriend."
