Chapter 23- Promises

*Tae's POV*

"Blake baby hurry up. We're gonna be late for the game. " I whined. He's doing this on purpose. He and Stephen haven't been on good terms every since I passed out at Destiny's engagement dinner. I do admit that was a bitch move, but Stephen does stupid things when he's scared. Him and Blake definitely had it out over me. He almost broke up with me over Stephen again in one night. I some how convinced him to calm down and now him and Stephen are at least civil around each other. It's Christmas day and The Clippers and Golden state warriors play against each other. We're supposed to be there before everyone else but he's getting his crazy check list ready.

"Okay, one last check to see if we have everything before we go. Do you have your inhaler?" he asks looking at me suspiciously.

"Um yes I do, I don't wanna die at your game. That would be very embarrassing." I said snickering and hitting him in his shoulder.

"You're gonna have to stop putting those paws on me. I'm not about that life." he says nudging me with his sharp elbows making me flinch.

"Stop! Those are my ribs! I'm so tickle-ish!" I said screaming and laughing trying not to pop him in his face.

"Oh believe me, I know baby girl." He says grabbing me by my sides, and squeezing them. I squirm out of his reach almost elbowing him in his face trying to get away.

"Can we just get to the oracle arena in one piece? Please?" I say with my hands up in front of my body. His eyes move up and down my body, he raises one eye brow, then grabs my hand intertwining our fingers.

"Fine. Let's go deliver this L." he says licking his lips.

The cool December air hit my face and I wince almost instantly. This really isn't how I thought I would be spending Christmas, but I'm supporting the 3 most important men in my life and I couldn't feel more complete. Klay, Stephen and Blake play today. I'm really not sure who to cheer for. I love my brother and Stephen with all my heart, but If Blake hears me cheering for Golden State against his team, he'll go crazy. As soon as we get into the arena, Blake kisses me and we part ways. I walk onto the court and a trainer stops me.

"I know Stephen and Klay, they're over there, just call them."

"I know who you are. You're Blake Griffin's girl and I just wanted to let you know that I think you guys are a cute couple." She says a little too energetic.

"Thanks.. What's your name?" I ask

"Leslie Angelic, You're Tae Saldana right? I follow you on social medias. I'm Blake's athletic trainer." she says putting her hand out, and we shake hands.

"Nice to meet you Leslie. I must get going now." I say smiling warmly at her and walking over to Klay.

"KLAAAAAAAY THOMPSOOOOOON WITH THE SHOOOOOOT AND THE CROWD GOES CRAZYYYYYYY" I shout then I start making little crown noises.

"You do this every game Tae." Klay says hugging me.

"It's my version of pumping you up so you can do your best." I say cheesing like a kid.

"I know a guy that needs a little cheering up." He says pointing to Steph, who just bricked a shot from the free throw line.

I wink at Klay. "I gotchaaaa." I say moon walking over to Stephen, popping him on the back.

"Woah, not to close before Blake sees us and goes crazy again." He says looking at my closely.

"Stop looking at me like that." I said looking at him funny.
