Chapter 27- Romancing

*Stephen's POV*

I woke up with an arm resting on my face and a head in my stomach. Immediately smiled as I realized that I was in bed with my love. I always knew she slept bad. Destiny and Klay told me that she slept bad, especially during thunderstorms. She gets scared of the thunder, and needs someone to accompany her while she sleeps. She's like a baby. I remember there being a night when it was storming really bad, and she was really scared to the point where she was shaking. Klay had suggested I sleep in her room with her, but at the time, we weren't on the best of terms so she rejected that idea. She slept in between Dest and Klay for the night, and when they all woke up, they we're all tangled together. Klay officially put her on the bad sleeper list.

There was something about this, that I didn't mind. I loved watching her sleep. I removed her arm from my face and placed it gently beside her. She moved a little bit, but didn't wake up. I noticed a tear streaming down her face while she was asleep. It concerned me a bit, but sometimes my eyes water when I'm sleeping so I just brush it off. I'm rubbing her back, cause I know she likes that when she's sleeping. I check my phone and there's a text from Leslie.

Oh you'll be seeing me soon alright.

I hear a bunch of sniffling, like she's actually crying. So I sit up to get a better look at her face, and to my surprise there's a lot of tears streaming down her face. She starts to gasp, & I'm unsure of what to do. I know she hates being woken up out of her sleep, but I'm doing it. I gently rub her arm, trying as hard as I can not to wake her up roughly.

"Baby get up." I say softly in her ear.

"Did I say you could stop rubbing my back?" She says sleepily. Yep, there she is. My brat is back.

"I'm sorry princess, but can you get closer and get your head out of my stomach." I laugh as she sits up, her wild hair all over the place making her look like a baby. She plops down on her pillow, and turns her back to me. I'm just sitting here wondering what I did to her this early.

"Why did you wake me up?" She asks finally after atleast 5 minutes of silence.

"Because you were crying." I say, then letting out a long breath.

"Oh." she says. Then it goes silent again.

"What's wrong?" I ask turning towards her.

"Nothing Steph." She says turning towards me.

"You sure princess?" I say pulling her closer to me.

"It was just a nightmare. But I don't wanna talk about that right now." she says sitting up and pushing me on my back, then straddling me. "I wanna talk about us." She then bends down and kisses my lips softly. Then she pulls back with a weird look on her face.

"What?" I say as I look up at her.

"I forgot about morning breath." She laughs, then gets off of me going towards her phone. I look down and notice my little guy is having a problem and I groan hella loud.

"Don't be a cry baby." She says continuing to look at her phone.

"You know I don't like it when You call me cry baby!" I say getting up and jumping on her bed.

"Stop doing that!" She screams.

"Don't call me cry baby!"

"They're gonna think we're having sex!" She screams standing up on the bed, trying to stop me from jumping again. I jump one more time and she loses her balance and tumbles off the bed.

"OH MY GOSH TAE DON'T STOP, THAT'S THE SPOT." I scream, before jumping off of the bed.

"Stop being childish." she says laughing, while covering my mouth. I look at her, then I remove her hands. Before she can react I attack her face with my lips, getting on top of her, and to my surprise she doesn't fight me. I kiss her a few times, then I stop. I respect her too much to do this with her right now, while she's hurting. I'm always thinking with the head down there, instead of the one with my brain in it.

I crawl off of her, and she sits up and I looks at me like I'm a fool.

"Why'd you stop." She asks slowly.

"Because it doesn't feel right. Not right now anyway." I say standing up, then helping her up off the floor.

"I'm starting to think you don't love me." she says looking at me out the side of her eyes then picking up her phone again. I run over to her and I grab her from behind, making sure she feels my hardness on her backside.

"Oh you bet your sweet ass, I love you." I said kissing the side of her face and neck, then gently biting on her neck causing little moans to escape from her lips.

"Stop teasing me." She says practically melting in my arms.

"You have 2 texts baby." I say then sucking on her neck once more.

"Well maybe if you'd leave me alone, I'd be able to function." She says trying to get out of my grasp.

She opens her messaging app, & it's messages from Blake.

'I'm 10 minutes from your house, be there soon.'

'Maybe we can go to lunch later.'

I gag, and let her go. "how long ago was that?" I ask her.

"About 15 minutes ago." she says looking around.

Then there's a knock at the door, and me and her look at each other. I dive under her bed, and signal for her to open the door. When the door opens , I hear Blake's bare tone voice, followed by a kissing sound.

"What are you doing here?" She asks.

"I can't come see my baby?" He says stepping closer to her.

"I told you I'd call you."

"Well I couldn't wait that long." He says, sounding like a baby.

"Well, I don't plan on leaving the house today." She says smugly.

"That's no problem, we can hang out here. Now come here." he says walking towards the bed and taking a seat. It's clear they aren't leaving this room anytime soon.

I'm about to be here all day.

After what seems like hours of listening to Blake talk and Tae's attitude, Klay saves me. He comes in and tells them about some college footage of Blake and him, and Tae and him migrate to the living room, closing the door behind them. I waited the standard 5 minutes before making my hasty exit, but as soon as I open the door to her room and close it quietly, Klay and Destiny are standing on the outside of it, with their arms folded.

"Mhm, ya busted." Dest says grabbing my ear.
