My wish

Remember,
when the sun goes down,
look up.

There is something peaceful
about finding the moon
waiting in the night sky,
as if it has been there all along.

Close your eyes
and remember the wish
you once made for love.

Maybe those tears
that quietly found their way
down your cheeks
were never tears of sadness.

Maybe the universe
was simply collecting them,
one by one,
saving them for the day
you finally understood
why you had to wait.

Because sometimes
love doesn't arrive
when you expect it.

Sometimes it arrives
when you have stopped searching,
when life has already taught you
how to be patient,
how to let go,
how to trust what you cannot see.

And then someone appears.

Not perfect.
Not without flaws.
Not wrapped in some storybook ending.

Just real.

Someone who makes you wonder
how two people
could have crossed so many paths
before finally finding each other.

Someone who becomes
a quiet thought in the middle of a busy day,
a smile you don't have to explain,
a future you don't have to force.

So what do I wish for?

The same thing
I have always wished for.

Happy love.
Healthy love.
Real love.

The kind that doesn't need
constant proof to exist.
The kind that understands
that life gets busy,
that people sometimes need space,
that not every chapter
is written at the same pace.

Because money can buy
almost everything you can hold,

but it cannot buy
the feeling of being chosen.

It cannot buy
a genuine heart.

It cannot buy
the kind of love
that makes waiting feel worthwhile.

So when the sun goes down,
I'll look toward the moon
and remember the wish
I made so long ago.

I won't chase it.

I won't try to force it.

I'll simply leave a little room
for the universe
to finish what it started.

Because if there is one thing
I've learned along the way,

it's that some people
are worth waiting for.

And some wishes
are worth keeping. 🌙✨
