Lunch time:
Matt walks into the cafeteria as he does any other day, completely absorbed with his DS, playing Pokemon. Crashing into random people and occasionally cursing.
He sits where he normally does and a few minutes later Mello joins him, blabbering nonstop about how he's going to be the best and better than Near and Matt agrees, barley paying attention.
Then by some miracle, Mello shuts up for a bit. Shocked, Matt looks up and sees what he's staring at.

Mello paced back and forth, biting his nails.
Near sighed,'I knew this was going to happen..' Then he pulled out a chocolate bar from his bucket and threw it at Mello,"There."
Mello swiftly caught it and grinned,"Thanks."
