Chapter 20: True Friend

Gwen's POV

I saw Shaz walking towards her seat. Looking sheepish because the people glued their eyes on her. I approached her instantly.

"Over here bes!" I beckoned my hands while smiling widely.

Lumingon naman siya. Wew! Ganda ng babaeng to ha. Natotomboy na ako. Pero bakit kaya ngayon lang siya pumasok ulit.

"Thank God you're here." she heaved a sigh of relief. Then she hugged me.

"Wait kiddo. Bakit ngayon ka lang pumasok ha?"

"Hmm. Wala." I saw her forlorned eyes as she despised.

"Nako ha. Stop pretending while it's blatant. I know you have a problem. So, what is it?" I mumbled.

She stared at me with scrunched forehead.

Suddenly she bursted out laughing.

"Wait yes, come with me." She held my hand and pulled me out of the door. I was staggering out there, for goodness sake!

Shaz's POV

Hinila ko palabas si Gwen at sinakay sa sasakyan ko.

I drove as fast as a jet. Pero tahimik lang kaming dalawa. Walang ni isang nagsalita.

15 minutes later ~

"Asan tayo?" Gwen asked.

"We're in Tagaytay City." I said firmly.

"Naman bes, ano ginagawa natin dito? Layo na natin ah!" She chuckled.

"I have a problem and I'm entrusting you with it. So, can you keep a secret?" I asked her.

She nodded.

"Good. Come!"

Pumasok kami sa isang di-kilalang bar. Syempre, dinala ko siya dun para walang may ibang makaalam sa sikreto ko, siya lang.

*clears throat*

"So, what's your problem?"

Nagpalinga-linga ako at hinarap siya.

"May sumisira sa akin sa school. Pinagbantaan pa ako with THIS."
I showed her the menaced note I got.

She looked astounded while reading it.

She stared at me with furrowed forehead and her eyes were full of questions.

"What is this? W-who gave this to you? Ano ba ang ginawa mo?" She asked me.

"Yan ang gusto kong alamin." I heaved a sigh.

"Ano nga kase ang ginawa mo? Pano na iyan? Lilipat ka ng school?" diretsahan niyang tanong.

"Woah. Dahan lang, bes. Hmm, di ko pa masasabi sa'yo ngayon. Malalaman mo rin. H-hindi ko nga alam eh. Di ako pinayagan ni daddy." I said without hesitations

"Nako. Kaya pala. Huwag kang mag-alala bes, aalamin natin kung sino ang nagbanta sa'yo." She said with furrowed eyebrows.

"Talaga? Thankie bes!" I shrilled in awe.

We had our EXO-hand-shake and hugged each other. Phew! I was relieved with that. And yeah, we're a fan of EXO.

Nagkasundo kami ni Gwen dahil sa EXOtic din siya. She loved Kyungsoo so much. She was an ultimate bias, actually. She loves collecting EXO giveaways including magazines, posters, T-shirts, bonnets, necklaces and etc. Her phone is full of EXO videos, too. She's addicted, man. I am either. Haha!

After we talked, we ordered a BFF bundle of pizza, fries, chicken and floats. We're so full.

Then, we drove away.

~ We're going on a trip on our favorite rocket ship, zooming through the sky. Little Einstein ~

I heard Gwen sang.

"What the? Nagmistulang bata ka na naman diyan." I chuckled.

"Ang tahimik eh. Nakakabingi na!"

So I opened the touchscreen media player on my car while driving.

~ I see you driving round town with the girl I love and I'm like- ~

"Fuck you! Woah ooh ooh" We both shouted. Hala pareho ang nasa isip namin. Nagtawanan na lang kami.

I changed the station.

~ I drove by all the places we used to hangout getting wasted. I thought about our last kiss how I felt the way you taste it. ~

15 minutes later, we arrived.
