"Ah!" the sleeping man yells again. His stoic face is crumbling to pieces, and it reveals a pained expression.

I wonder which part he's at...?

"This is a surprise. I've never seen Gotoh have such expressions. He's always so emotionless," Killua mumbles with a sweatdrop.

From the look on Killua's face, I can tell that he's wondering what Gotoh's seeing and of my past.

"Don't hurt her...! Can't you see she's had more than enough!" His statement makes my eyes widen slightly.

Did he try to beg Ryouko to stop for me?

A warm feeling floods my insides as what just happened finally processes. Even though he can't really do anything about it, he still tried...

"Is he done yet?" Killua asks for the millionth time. I sigh heavily and shake my head 'no.'

"A lot of things happened in Master's life," Ren explains, pawing at his scaly nose to try and stay awake.

It's already been two days since I showed Gotoh my past, and he's still in the coma-like state. The entire time, he either growled or spewed a string of curse words.

"I wonder where Gon and the others are. Do you think they're okay?" Killua says, thinking out loud. I look at him, scrutinizing his thoughtful face. Of course, I also thought about what the others were doing, but I'm not worrying since I already know.

It's nothing bad, nor nothing great. While the other boys were trying to get in, Gon had gotten hurt by a butler-in-training. I was planning on getting revenge, but Gon seems to have made acquaintances with her.

Che, Gon is too naive. But, he did the right thing. I guess I should learn a couple things from him.

"Gotoh! You're finally awake!" Killua suddenly exclaims. I whip my head towards them and I see that Killua looks excited. "Alright! Now we can go find Gon!"

I slightly shake my head with amusement before looking at Gotoh, to see he's already staring at me. His eyes are widened and glazed over. I guess he's still in the process of comprehending my life story. My gaze trails down to his trembling hands, as they raise to wipe away a stray tear.

"I am very sorry for trying to hurt you. I hope you can forgive me," he says, back to his normal, butler self with a bow. I give him a curt nod, and he sends me a soft smile before standing up straight.

"Now, I'll be on my way to find yours and Young Master Killua's friends." With that, Gotoh leaves the room and the atmosphere becomes an awkward silence.

"Tenshi-san..." Killua calls out. "Will you ever tell me– no, us about your past...?"

I nod immediately in response and look at Ren with a small smile.

"My master will tell you everything one day, but not right now. She believes it isn't the right time," Ren says, voicing my thoughts impeccably. The white-haired boy nods in understanding, and he does the most surprising thing.

     He hugs me.

"No pressure, just tell us when you're ready," he mutters in my ear. I can visualize his face blushing a bright crimson with a pout of embarrassment. There's also heat radiating from him, hehe.

I comb my fingers through his soft silver hair, comfortingly massaging his head, and the temperature from his body rises. Then, after a couple seconds, he reluctantly lets go and runs away, making me frown. Sighing, I follow him as Ren follows right behind me.

Killua's footsteps echo quietly along with the wafts of his chocolate scent, and they lead me to a closed wooden door. As I creak it open, my eyes catch several butlers and more importantly, my friends.

I scan my eyes over Gon, instantly noticing bruises and swells on his face. The sight enrages me, almost making me ooze with bloodlust, but I breathe in and let it go. Gon is strong. He will heal.

"You said you were going to bring them right to me once you saw them," Killua mutters childishly. Gotoh apologizes immediately.

"Gon! Let's go, I don't want to stay here long enough for my mother to find out I'm leaving again!" He struts out the door, Kurapika and Leorio in tow. Gon, however, stays behind to see Gotoh's coin trick.

I direct a pointed look at the back of his head, rolling my eyes in boredom. It's such a simple trick, I don't understand why he's so amazed by it. But, it's kind of... cute.

He's learning new things, and he's enjoying himself. Who am I to dampen his spirits? I keep my rude comments to myself and wait patiently for him to finish.

"Oh! Tenshi-san!" Gon exclaims, finally noticing my presence. He runs over to me and grabs onto my arm, tugging on my hand. "Let's go before they leave us behind!"

I nod and run along with him, hiding my frown beneath my hood.

Gon, I hope your smile never disappears in the long journey ahead of you...
