CHAPTER 35 - Boys X Envy

Feitan's P.O.V.

"Why are you both red? Did something happen?" Phinks asked as Tenshi and I joined them.

"Tch! Shut up." I muttered under my breath and looked somewhere else when an image of Tenshi and I kissing flashed in my mind. I can feel heat rush through my whole face to my ears. My stomach churned and giving a feeling that I was falling off a high cliff. My head was light and my lips couldn't stop turning into a smile. I was happy that I kissed her and judging by her reaction, it must be her first. That chain bastard wasn't her first kiss.

"Something definitely happened to them. Feitan's ears are red and Tenshi's face is the color of a strawberry and she looks so zoned out!" Shizuku panicked as she saw Tenshi staring off into space and tried to get her attention by waving her hands frantically in front of her eyes but to no avail. She continued to stare into space as I stare right at her. I guess she sensed my gaze because she turned to me.

In that instant, our eyes met and I felt so warm and fluffy when I saw her beautiful brownish red eyes look into my plain dark brown ones. A flash of her soft lips on mine was seen in my mind and the familiar sensation of heat traveling to my cheeks and ears was felt so I turned away and she did the same.

"Oh~? What's this? Why did you both have such reaction just by looking at each other? Not fair! I want to be the cause of Tenshi's cute blush!" Shalnark whined and I sent him a death glare and he immediately stopped and looked away to avoid my gaze. Hmph! Serves him right!

I felt someone look at me so I look over to the source to see Phinks looking at me. He gave me that look that says that he wants to know so I gave a him a shrug, not wanting him to find out what exactly happened to Tenshi and me. Knowing him, he would tease me and I hate getting teased. No matter who it is. I tease others not the other way around.

Glancing to Tenshi, I see her blushing while touching her lips. I smirk at her, feeling rather proud that I had kissed her and that, by her reaction, it had a huge impact on her. It must've been her first kiss. I'm extremely happy that I am her first kiss and she was mine...

Author's P.O.V.

"What happened between you and Feitan, huh?" Shizuku asked with a mischievous look on her face. Heat traveled to Tenshi's cheeks in that instant when she remembered her and Feitan's latest encounter. This only made Shizuku even more curious and gave her the conclusion that something really did happen between her two companions.

"U-uhm...nothing...happened..." Tenshi stuttered and immediately cursed under her breath for sounding like that. She looked over at her black haired friend who gave her a teasing look.

"Can't we just continue on without mentioning about what happened between the two of us?! Nothing happened!" Tenshi whined a little and felt a bit proud for not stuttering this time. Shizuku giggled at her friend's reaction and decided to stop teasing her....for now.

The small group continued on their walk around the unknown world that awaited to be discovered as they also gained a few cards here and there. Tenshi and Feitan would often catch each other's gazes and would look away out of embarrassment. Shizuku squealed in delight as she watched the two along with Phinks who smirked at his short black haired companion. Bonolenov kept oblivious to the two possible lovers as Shalnark and Kalluto glared at their dear member in envy and hatred.

"Why is it him? Feitan doesn't even speak much and I bet he can't even say a whole sentence without pausing." Shalnark murmured with an annoyed look as he looked over at Tenshi who was blushing and was currently talking to Shizuku. She looked so adorable with her cherry colored cheeks that heat was slowly arising on his own cheeks.

The poor blonde was so mesmerized by the beautiful angel that he didn't feel the deathly glare of the man who he just made fun of a few seconds ago.

"Where are you looking at Shalnark?" The short but demonic man mumbled as he noticed where Shalnark's eyes were trailing. The said boy shuddered in fright as he slowly turned to see Feitan glaring at him like he was mentally torturing him and no one wanted that for everyone knew that it was Feitan's talent for torturing a person.

"S-sorry!" The blonde stuttered and reluctantly peeled his eyes off the angel but making small glances one in a while.

"And sorry to break it to you that I can speak a whole sentence without pausing. What a shame...I thought you were one of the smart members. Guess I was wrong." Feitan stated as he passed by the blonde and waltzed his way beside Tenshi.

Shalnark slowly lost color as each word was muttered out of his member's mouth until he caught on to what exactly Feitan said. He had just indirectly told him he was dumb, stupid. Shalnark became red with anger as his eyes followed the black haired man who got closer to the woman Shalnark currently had a crush on.

Feitan leaned to her ear and whispered something which made the girl turn red to her ears. Feitan, satisfied with his reaction, smirked and chuckled a little.

Shalnark grumbled as he watched the scene play as long with the other men. They always wondered why Feitan was so lucky to find an amazing girl like Tenshi, first out of the entire Spider. It made them feel jealousy, envy, towards their dear member. Phinks also felt it but never dared to say since Feitan was practically the only one in the Spider who isn't annoying and understands him.

As they watched the two interact with each other, they slowly became depressed. Thinking...

"This will be a loooonngg journey unless I try to take her away from Feitan. It will be much more entertaining."

With the last comment, their frowns turned to smirks and stared at the lovely 'couple.' Feitan felt a chill run down his spine and quickly turned around to see his allies just walking beside each other and chatting amongst themselves. He then shrugs and continues to tease the poor angel who has already turned a really deep shade of red and was already steaming through her ears.
