CHAPTER 42 - Haunting X Woman

Ryoko's P.O.V.

I skip my way down the streets with a huge smile on my face. The wind felt nice as it brushed my pale skin and making my violet hair swish around with the motion of my body.

"Kill~ Kill~ I love to Kill~ Blood~ Blood~ I love to see crimson Blood~ So red~ So Beautiful~!" I sang as I swing my hands in the air with pure happiness.

Blood was stained on my clothes and skin which I did not mind. The warm and metallic tasting substance felt nice against my skin. It was exquisitely intoxicating.

"This kill was pretty amusing but not as entertaining as torturing my little Tenshi. Her melodic voice morphed into those of desperate cries of agony and terror. Her sweet and beautiful blood staining me. I wonder what my little kitten is up to. Taking lives from both innocent and bad like how I am right now?" I chuckle a little and lick the blood at the corner of my lips.

A maniac laugh was then heard and the loud jingling sound bounced off the walls of the buildings in the city.

"That would never happen! My poor dear is too frighten to do such beautiful deeds. She would only kill the bad but she, herself is a bad person! Is she not?! She killed so many! Though, she would throw all these sacred actions away and try to turn into a 'good' person! I can just imagine her trying to make a 'friend' at this current moment. How pitiful! She should know her place. She isn't human! Nobody will love her. Heck! Her parents even left her! What a stupid girl!" I screamed but got angrier with each word I sputtered.

"She should've just stayed with me and enjoyed what I provided her. The pleasure of pain and killing. WHAT MORE IS THERE IN THIS CORRUPTED PLACE CALLED LIFE?!" I asked angrily with a sick smile. Just then, a brilliant idea came crashing down on me.

"I should go and give the dear a small visit and maybe bring her back to remind her of the beautiful memories we shared in that dungeon under that abandon castle I live in." I said and my body shuddered in delight at just the thought of torturing the kitten over and over and over again.

Just then, a group of men walked over to me with a smirk and a playful look in their eyes. The alluring smell of beer wafted in my nostrils and breathed in satisfaction. My smile only getting wider.

"Hey baby~. You want to have some fun with us?" One man asked with a sick grin. I give them an innocent smile and tilt my head in false confusion.

"Fun? What fun?" I asked like a little girl, not knowing the cruelties of life. This made the boys chuckle and fist bump with each other as if they just won a prize.

"You'll see~." Another man said as he slipped an arm around your shoulder.

"And I like what you did there. Putting paint to seem as if it was blood. I find that pretty daring in a woman." The man whispered in my ear as his grip on my shoulder got a bit tighter. His breath smelled like the sewer but I kept the innocent look on my face.

'I guess I have to let you wait a bit more, my dear Tenshi.' I think as I secretly smile my usual maniac smile.

Tenshi's P.O.V.

Time Skip

"Gon, I'm sorry I wasn't able to stop the ant from hurting Kite. I promise I will get him back today." I said to my saddened friend. He had just watched Kite had his right arm severed in front of his eyes and before he could even do anything, Killua knocked him out.

We were hidden away from Morel and Knov. They were busy discussing strategies about the ants so they did not really notice us missing.

"Really?!" Gon asked excitedly, no more sadness written in his face. My smile widen as I nod. Gon pulled me into a hug and I immediately respond to it.
