CHAPTER 47 - Waking X Up

Tenshi's P.O.V.

It was all dark and I felt as if I was being pulled to the very bottom of an ocean. However, I was still breathing fine. My lungs seemed to working like normal. Deep breath in and out.

Everything felt it was closing in on me until I see three familiar figures. I first saw Ren who was giving me his toothy smile that allowed me to see his pointy teeth.

Next was Kurapika who was reaching his hand for me. His smile was warm and welcoming. That usual eye closed smile somehow looked different than the other times. He showed more affection in this one which made my heart skip a beat.

Lastly was Feitan. The last guy that showed such affection towards me. He did not have a smile but his expression was relaxed and looked at peace. His usual cold gaze was soft and gentle as it looked into my eyes. It felt as if I was being suck into his warm eyes.

I was about to run towards them until I was met with three other dark silhouettes in front of me. My three friends were gone from my sight and were replaced by these strangers' shadow. One was very tall and even though it was a dark figure, it showed how big and muscular his body was. It seemed he was wearing a large fury coat and his hair was spiky and placed everywhere.

Next was a slim figure. He had a huge sword on his arms and he seemed to have a hat on his head. He too was tall but looked skinnier than the first.

Last was a shorter shadow who also had a hat on but it was definitely a different hat. His posture was an outgoing position in some sort of way while the first gave out a pride position. The second had a lazy form which did not sit right with me. Lazy people are very mischievous at times.

The last figure seemed to give off a fun and energetic aura that reminded me of Gon. It pulled me towards him but I kept my ground. These people were strangers and people I may be just dreaming about.

The three men were about to step close to me but before I can even take a step back, I felt like I was falling again. The three shadows try to reach out for me but I slipped through their fingers and continued falling.

I woke up from the feeling of falling to see that I was in a tube. Water was all around me but I took in a breath and it worked. I could inhale and exhale but how?

I then look around to see Ren, Kurapika, and Feitan chained not far from me. Anger boiled in me as memories came rushing into my mind. RYOKO!

I tap on the glass and it immediately broke at my touch and I was free. The water gushed out and out came my body. I stand and look over at my friends who looked at me wide eyed.

My eyes narrow at how they looked. Their cheeks looked like they've been sucked in and their whole body looked boney. How long have I been out?!

I make my way towards them and quickly break the chains that have been tightened around their skin. There was a purple mark where the chains were once were and it took them a while to get up and stand still. They were so weak from not eating for so long and sitting for a long period of time.

"T-Tenshi...you're finally...a-awake!" Kurapika spoke in a husky voice. He tried his best not to sound tired or hurt but I already saw it. They can't fool me.

I ignore what he said and went over to them and gave them a hug. They were shock at first but hugged back. It pained me. When my arms wrapped around them, I felt like I could break their bodies at that very moment if I squeezed them into my embrace too much. I sigh and separate from them with a small but pained smile.

I could've stopped this from happening if I was smart enough to see through Ryoko.

Within a few seconds, I had Ren on my shoulders and had both boys on my shoulder. I then ran and went to NGL where Gon and Killua is. I felt Gon's aura and it got immensely stronger so I run as fast as I can.

Since my legs were still sloppy from lack of using them, I couldn't run normally. I was slow and sluggish which angered me.

How can I be so careless?! I knew Ryoko was planning something! I'm so stupid for not seeing this coming!

With a huff, I try running faster and finally stopped in a forest that had not Chimera ants in sight. I then set down the boys and left to get some water and food. Ignoring the calls of my name from the three men, I continue on my way.

Grabbing anything edible in an abandoned town, I turn back to give it to them.

"Thanks." They all muttered then dug into the pile of food I've given them. A smile was graced onto my lips until I remembered about Gon and Killua.

With a small curse, I was off to where my younger friends are located. Killua was safe as his aura did not change as great as Gon so I went straight to where that black haired boy was at.

My breath stopped as I saw Gon land a powerful blow on a cat like human thing. She flew and before Gon can land another hard hit on the creature, I trapped him in a shroud of aura.

He panicked for a split moment before trying to get out by punching and kicking it but it didn't break one bit. It was like a barrier to keep whatever inside safe but.... trapped.

I went over to him and gave a slight smile of reassurance to him. His eyes soften but his lips formed a thin line. I knew he wanted to fight this creature himslef since she was the one who killed Kite but I will not tolerate my friends getting hurt.

I quickly grab all the civilians in the area and all the good people and put them far away along with Gon who was still trying to break out. The large amount of Nen he was using was slowly draining inside that barrier I put him in. It was the only way for him not to use too much Nen.

Once all my friends and allies of my friends along with the good civilians in the many towns were safe and far from the Chimera Ants, I set down the barrier around Gon and put a huge barrier around me and the area where the Chimera Ants are so I can have the whole place as my battleground with these weird creatures.

I shiver in delight as I finally have the chance to go all out. The fact that there are opponents a bit stronger than usual are around made me happy and I didn't want to miss this chance.
