-Beep Beep-
I plop my hand over my phone and slide one finger over my screen to turn the alarm off. Rubbing my face I cringe thinking of school. Jumping up I run to my closet to grab the outfit for today. I look through my drawer of jeans to find a perfect one.
My eyes move towards where my black ripped jeans are. Jumping into the jeans I look around in my bra for a shirt. I grab a a light cropped grey tank top to wear with the thick black cardigan that I already have in my hands. Slipping into my black booties I will admit I feel rather confident.
Walking over to my vanity and brush my black mid-back length hair into a high ponytail. Yawning I apply a light brown lip liner, gloss and fix my eyeliner. Grabbing my grey backpack, and other phone necessities I'm finally ready to go.
I rush down the stairs and enter the kitchen. I grab the bottle filled with the mango smoothie my mother made me the night before. Taking the keys of my car from its place on the wall I head out the door, and unlock my beautiful car. Black from the inside out, every girl dream car. Well, more like mines, but whatever. The car roars to life as I turn on the engine. The radio automatically plays my favorite song.

I pulled over in front of Diane's peach-colored modern styled house. Out of boredom, I look at the red front door waiting for her to appear. Noticing we're going to be late I honk. A loud "I'm coming woman!" comes out as she struggles to close the door and hold on to her stuff.
Diane swings open the passenger seat door and plops herself in the seat, and buckles in. "I'm ready!" she huffs out. From the corner of my eyes, I glare at her for mistreating my baby.
She quickly pulls her brown hair up into a messy ponytail. She puts on her distressed jean jacket and fixes her graphic tee. "What?" Diane snaps once she notices me. I wave it off and drive off towards school. Diane applies her mascara to finish off her look.

As I sit down next to Marisol in English I noticed she's growing mushrooms on her head. I wave my hand over her face and get no reaction. I look at Diane and give her the what's-wrong-with-her face. She only shrugs.
Since I wasn't getting attention I did the most logical thing I could think of. I pinch her bare arm. Hey, when in a crisis everything counts or at least that's what my dad says.
She yelps and glares at me. I smile smugly. "What do you want" she barks at me. Whoa, someone's mad.
"You okay?" I carefully say.
"No," She calmly says. "I finally found out who he left me for."
"Who?" Diane and I say simultaneously.
"He left me for Vanessa Rodriguez." I threw up a bit. I know, I hate Vanessa for being the most annoying human being that ever walked the earth, but she could have done so so much better. She's dating a pile of garbage. "I should have known it was her, he always told me not to worry about her."
"Are you sure it's Vanessa?" I question. I pray that she was joking.
"I'm positive." Marisol gravely says.
"Like sure sure," I say a little disgusted.
"Yes, Jesus how many Vanessa Rodriguez do you know?" She asks quite annoyed.
"Unfortunately only one." I dramatically say.
