It's six o'clock in the afternoon and here I am throwing all my clothes on the floor not liking what I see. My mother walked in two minutes ago and looked at the mess that I made. She just shook her head and walked out. Thanks for the help mother. Giving up I ring up Diane. "Hello?" answered Diane.
"I need help picking a dress for the date with Sebastian!" I whined.
"I'm totally coming over with Marisol." Diane quickly says.
"But..."-BEEP- Did she hang up on me? "Hello?" Dang, it Diane. I drag myself into the messy closet trying to pick out an outfit from the floor.
Thirty minutes later my mother came in with guess who, Diane and Marisol.
"We are here!" sang Diane.
"Hurry up and come in." I ushered. I look at my mother who is still standing in front of my door.
"Wanna come to help me?" I say. She quickly came in and she literally had a spring to her step.
"What are you wearing?" Marisol asks me. I look down at my outfit. Grey sweatpants and a black tank top.
"What's wrong with it?" I say. "It's not like I'm going to the date in this!" I shout at her.
"Okay, okay now where is he taking you?" My mother asks me as she sits on my bed.
"To dinner." I smile as I tell them.
"Then let's get a move on" Hollered Marisol. Marisol went to my vanity to look at my make-up, perfumes, and jewelry. Diane disappeared into the mess of a closet looking for an outfit. My mother joined her for help and also for shoes. I sat down on my bed freaking out. This is actually happening. AAH!! Get a grip girl.
"Serena!" I jump out of my thoughts and look at Diane who looked fairly annoyed.
"Come and try these on." Ushered my mother. I get up and grab the three hangers. I walk into the closet to change. As I walk out I show off the black pencil skirt with a tight black crop top. A white blazer to keep me warm if I do get to wear this outfit.
"NO." They all said simultaneously.
Dragging myself back to the closet. I was struggling with the next outfit. It's a white sleeveless jumpsuit with a blush pink blazer. Walking out my mother quickly told me to change. Diane and Marisol giggle at her reaction. I roll my eyes at her. "I have to agree with your mom. This is not a dinner date outfit," Marisol says backing up my mother.
"Well, you guys are no fun." Diane huffs. I slowly go back to change into the next outfit. Walking out in a dark plum dress with a high neckline, short sleeves, with a black waist belt. As I walk out every head nodded approving it. "This is it!" Diane squeals. Laughing my mother drags me to the vanity and starts brushing my hair. Thank goodness I already did the other bathroom necessities. As my mom curled my hair, Marisol started getting the eye shadows out. Diane surfed through my jewelry box. From the corner of my eyes, I saw it was already seven.
"Close your eyes," Marisol ordered. I finally have time to relax.
They finished after what felt like an hour. As I opened my eyes I see grey smokey eye shadow with black cat eyeliner. My lips are a nude color. I nervously wiped my hands over the lacey material of the dress. My hair has been braided on the sides and pulled into a ponytail. I grabbed the diamond studs from Diane's hand and placed them on. Spraying on some perfume, my mother passed me my black felted booties with a golden zipper on the sides. "It's almost 8." Marisol excitedly says. I let out a nervous breath. Grabbing my long black felt coat I walk down for my father to see me.
