why i hate school

josh: but you hate school

lily: true, but i don't hate education, i hate people

josh: people are kind of unavoidable

lily: unfortunately, it's the people that ruin it for me honestly

josh: so school itself is okay for you

lily: yeah i don't mind learning, i understand you have to put in work, certain amounts of hours i don't mind learning especially when it's something interesting

josh: i feel bad for the teachers, they come to teach, i mean i know it's a job and they get paid but most of them do it willingly

lily: yeah, some kids really do wanna learn

josh: i don't think the high school experience is bad, but when it gets in the way of your education meh

lily: see that's the thing, i think you have the opportunity to have both, there's some real big school buffs that loooove school and are "popular"

josh: i just want people to have integrity and morals

lily: yeah like i totally understand we're not gonna agree on a lot of things, but if it's something you really believe in, i would never stand in the way of someone's belief

josh: but some people have stupid beliefs lol

lily: *laughs* it's all perception right, we could be the wrong ones y'know don't be so arrogant

josh: it's not arrogance, it's pride

lily: i don't know which one is worse

josh: i guess what i'm saying is people should do things because they care

lily: no one is holding a gun to your head

josh: people might as well take advantage though, it's a good experience

lily: people are spoiled, maybe that's why i hate school
