A/N: That's the dorm house, on top (obviously). The girl on the bottom is Evie, Aralynn's roommate.
Chapter 7
A girl with long brown hair and brown eyes turned around. She had freckles dotted across her face. She was really pretty. She smiled and waved at me.

"I'm assuming you're my new roommate?" She asked. I nodded and smiled in return.

"Yep, it's nice to meet you. I'm Aralynn," I say as I held my hand out to her. She took it.

"Evie," she returns with her name. I nod as we just stood there in a thick, awkward silence.

"So, where'd you go before this?" Evie asked, breaking the silence.

"I finished high school a year before but I thought I wouldn't be able to continue school until this offer came. How about you?" I explained and she nodded.

"I went to high school last year too, so we're both first year," she smiled. I nodded at her comment. We just stand there when I hear a knock. I jumped at the sound and just stood there as the sound kept going. She turned towards me, expectantly. "Aren't you going to open the door?" She asked as her eyebrow rose. I shook my head to snap out of my daze.

"R-right," I stuttered for some odd reason. I opened the door to reveal Crash.

"Yeah..." I heard her say. Crash stood there with a stoic face.

"Do you need something?" I asked him and he nodded.

"We're going shopping," he said as if he was dreading it. I looked at him in surprise and curiosity. "The headmistress told me to take you shopping," he explained as quickly as possible.

"Great, I've been meaning to go shopping for some things," Evie said behind me and Crash looked at her in confusion. I turned to her at gave her a questioning look. She turned towards us and narrowed her eyes. "What?" She asked as if she was getting ready to defend herself.

"Nothing," I said, shaking my head. Her face turned towards Crash. He just shrugged and she grabbed her wallet. "I have no money," I sighed.

"The school is paying for you remember,"he said without letting any emotion come out. What is wrong with him? He's a robot, he has got to be one. He doesn't have feelings... Yep that's got to be it. I shrugged as I walked out and he followed.

"So silent boy, why are you here? Aren't you attached to the Beverly girl? Why are you here?" Evie asked. How would she know and who's Beverly? I look confused. Crash stayed quiet.

"Who's Beverly?" I asked and she looked at me with a face that said "really?" I shrugged at her look.

"The headmistress' daughter," Evie sighed.

"How do you know these things?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I've been a t this school long enough to see he's her little pet," she gestured towards Crash. Crash looked away as his jaw clenched. He was hiding something... We arrived at the car as he opened his door and slammed it. I flinched at his sudden movement and Evie rolled her eyes.

"Ok, hot head you can calm down now,"she muttered. We sat in the car in a thick silence. I squirmed at the tension. Thankfully the ride wasn't long. When the car finally came to a complete stop, we hopped out. Crash walked towards and handed me a card. I looked at him in confusion..

"It's yours. Remember it only has a certain amount so use it carefully," he said.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"I have places to be," he said, gruffly. I nodded and took the card in uncertainty.

"Probably to go see Beverly huh?" Evie said with an all knowing tone. He only turned to her and glared. She shrugged and made a humph noise. He got back in the car and drove off, leaving me with Beverly. She looked at me and said, "So should we go shopping?" I nodded and we went towards the entrance. When we entered I felt the cool air brush by. I sigh in contentment as I realized how hot it was outside.

We walked into a store called Memories. I stared at the white tubes that stood there and saw people walk out, happy. "You guys don't like each other huh?" I asked as I looked at her. She looked and shrugged.

"Exes," she stated, simply. I looked at her, wide eyed. She looked at me and shrugged. "Never thought we'd be together?" She asked and I shook my head. "Never knew why I dated him," she concluded. She walked towards a white tube and closed the door. I walked into one, also. It powered on and a whole bunch of scans went on. Many designs popped up and I looked in fascination. They were beautiful. I looked at the price and my jaw dropped. They were expensive. One of the workers knocked.

"Hi, I would like to know if you need any help," she stated, kindly. I shook my before realizing that she wasn't able to see me through the wall.

"No," I replied with a kind tone, too.

"Ok, well let me know if you need any help," she said.

"Thank you," I said with a smile. I, quickly, chose two random outfits after being unable to choose. I swiped my card and the clothes dispensed out in a pretty bag. The door opened up and I found a plain blue bag outside my tube and I looked around to see if anybody left their bag. Nobody came by to retrieve it so I bent down and opened it. There was a picture and an envelope. I looked at the picture and gasped.
