Chapter 12
His eyes burned with anger and hatred. "Say that again," he dared. His head was bent to look down at my face."I said don't be such and ass," I snapped at him. This was getting really annoying. He tried to grab my neck but I dodged. Oh he did not just try to do that! I analyzed his figure and saw that he was way to slow but he was a very good fighter. His face was bright red and everyone's eyes were trained on us.
"Give up the seat or you won't get out of this class as a little princess," he mocked. I clenched my hands at my side. Where the hell is the teacher?
"Princess? Hah!" I laughed. I sat down to show I wasn't budging from my seat. I heard people gasp. "Look here Romeo, I'm not moving and you have to deal with it. Not everything goes you way," I smirked. He pissed me off. He royally pisses me off. I was so furious. Just as he was about to complain again, the teacher came in.
"Ok, class! I am Mr. Haynes. Take your seats while I'll hand out your schedules," Mr. Haynes called out. The guy stomped towards an empty seat, as if he was throwing a tantrum. His face was beet red from embarrassment. Ha that's what he gets. "Ok! Alex Aline," the teacher calls out. A few more names were called out before he called me out. "Aralynn Cadwell!" He said and I my hand rose up. "Dallas Curt!" He continued after handing me mine. I looked only to see the guy who tried to hurt me raise his hand. So his name is Dallas. Whatever. I sighed as I looked down at my schedule.

7. Extra Training Gym Mrs. DallyI groaned at the two training. Everyday at the beginning and end of the day. This is great... "Ok! You guys get to your classes," Mr. Haynes called out. Everyone stepped out of their seats and shuffled out. The tension was now gone but I felt his anger. He pulled out of his seat and stormed out. I shook my head as I walked out of the classroom. I made my way to the gym and walked inside. It smelled of sweat and was warm. The gym was crowded with people. Teachers held up signs of each group. Some said advanced and others beginning-intermediate. Then, there was my group, beginners. I made my way towards that group and sighed.
"Ok! Listen here beginners!" Mrs. Dally called out. We quieted down and watch our teacher look at each of us with stern faces. "You are here to learn to fight? Am I correct?" She asked. Some stiffened, some slumped, and some muttered their answers. I stayed quiet. "I can't hear you!" She shouted at us.
"Yes!" Everyone answered as she gave us a stern stare. She nodded and walked to wards the exit. We followed her and she stopped, all of a sudden.
"Take a lap and then choose a partner," she ordered. Everyone groaned.
"We aren't even dressed," someone complained. Mrs. Dally's head snapped towards the person who said that and her eyes narrowed into thin slits.
"If you want to become better, you have to follow my orders. Do you think I don't know you aren't dressed for it? If you are not dressed you have to learn to deal with it because this year, whether you dress or not does not matter to me. You will be doing the exercises," she says and she pointed towards the track. Everyone started to file into a line, waiting for her to tell us to go. "Go!" She shouted. Everyone took off and I jogged. As everyone started to slow down, I started to pass each one of them. "Do not stop running!" She shouted. Everyone started again but they were breathing hard. I ignored how everyone protested and passed all of them. The finishing point neared and I jogged over to it.
"Done," I muttered, a little out of breath.
"Good," she said. "Wait until everyone comes so you may pick your partners," she said in a strict tone. I only nodded and watched the people jog. They were farther away than I thought. "What's your name? I have to note down the fastest runner," she said, her eyes were casted down to her clipboard.
"Aralynn," I stated and her face shot up. Her eyebrow cocked up as she looked at me. My eyebrows furrowed at her expression.
"Aralynn Cadwell?" She asked and I, slowly, nodded. "How? You're supposed to be my worst student," she questioned and I rolled my eyes. I shrugged and walked towards the benches as everyone started jogging in. They were out of breath and the teacher shook her head. "Move it, people! You guys are way under expectations!" She shouted. Everyone glared at her. I looked down at my hands and started fiddling with them. There was a lot of chatter as people got their partners.
"Hey, is it ok for you to be my partner?" A meek voice asked. I shrugged as she hesitantly sat down. "My name is Samantha by you can call me Sam," she said more Perrier than she first talked to me. I nodded at her and her head titled to the side. As she tried to examine me I sighed and looked at her.
"I'm Aralynn," I said as she looked at me. She grinned and nodded.
"So Aralynn, should we go?" She asked and I nodded. I got up and she popped out of her seat. She skipped out the track and onto the asphalt. I never like the smell of asphalt. It had a pungent smell.
"So class, today we are going to learn blocking and dodging. Will someone come and help me demonstrate?" She asked and nobody's hands went up so she scanned the crowd. Her eyes flew past everyone and landed on an unlucky girl. That unlucky girl was, sadly, me. "How about you, Aralynn?" She asked. I shrugged and got up. At this point, no body would care about my score since I got the lowest. "I want you to try your best and hit me. I will block you, ok?" She said. She said in a slow voice as if I didn't understand her. I rolled my eyes and then nodded. I am not usually like this but Dallas really pissed me off. She got into defense mode and I found her weakness in ten seconds. I aimed towards her stomach and she blocked. So I did a low kick, knowing it would distract her. The teacher fell to the floor, in surprise. The students looked in surprise and I sighed.
"I'm bored," I mumbled. I went towards where we sat and sat down.
"How'd you do that?" Sam squeaked and I shrugged, ignoring the irritating stares. Well, this is going to be interesting.
