Chapter 16
I sat up, tiredly, in my bed. I stretched and checked the time. 6:05 A.M. Damn it. I woke up to early. I rolled out of bed and took a hairband to tie messy hair into a ponytail. I wasn't in the mood to fix it right now. I opened the dorm room door and slipped out. I, gingerly, walked towards the exit of the dorm house. Sighing, I looked out to find somewhere to lay. The cold breeze brushed by like a feather. I took a deep breath as I lay on the cool grass. I look up at the sky with its frosty blue glow. Silence and peace was all I felt and my eyes started to droop. "Shouldn't you be sleeping in your dorm not on the floor?" A voice scared me awake. My eyes widened and I sat up. "Damn your a mess in the mornings," Dallas smirked. I groaned. Andddd Dallas is back to his sarcastic self. "Don't do that too loud someone's going to hear," he teased.

"What do you want Dallas?" I mumbled, suddenly too tired to deal with him.

"Nothing, just saw you laying there and couldn't help but help you out. You don't seem to know where you're supposed to sleep," he shrugged and he had on a devilish smirk. Sighing, I got up and walked towards the girl's dorm. "Ignoring me now, princess?" He asked. I turned around and mocked him.

"Don't you think princess is a little too cliché of a nickname?" I said, tiredly.

"Not for you," he smiled as if he was innocent. I grumbled as I walked away from him but he caught up anyways. "Hey, princess," he repeated over and over as we walked through the dorm halls. I opened the door and as he was about to step in, I shut it in his face. Evie shot up from her bed and looked around. She looked scared and I laughed, momentarily. Key word momentarily. Her head, slowly, turned towards me and she glared.

"Morning, Eves," I giggled, hysterically. Her face was bright red. Uh-oh. She was pissed.

"ARALYNN TAYLOR CADWELL! You better have a god damn good reason for waking me up at six!" She yelled. I heard snickering from the other side. I hit the door and groaned.

"Shut up! You piece of poop!" I yelled at him. Evie cocked her head in confusion.

"Who's at the door?" She said low and dangerous. Uh- Wait? Why was I about to cover for him?

"The same person who made me woke you up," I say, innocently. Evie shoots out of her bed and charges for the door. Haha sucks for him. I heard 'uh-oh' as the door slammed open. She ran towards him and chased him down.

"Get your butt over here!" I heard her scream. I started laughing but it went quiet. She stood in the doorway and looked angry still.

"Morning Evie," I say with a nervous chuckle.

"You're sooo going to get it," she threatened. Remind me never to mess with her if she's sleeping. "Now get your damn ass up before we're late," she commanded. I stood up and followed her orders before she kills me. I shove my uniform on and fixed my hair that I, carelessly, put in a ponytail. I sighed as I was content with my image and walked out. She nodded and rushed in to get ready.

Ten minutes later, she came out of the bathroom. "Let's go," she said. I nodded as we walked out of the door. We went through went through narrow hallways to get to outside. The wind whipped back and forth as we pushed our way to get breakfast. We passed by a garden and there were bushes of pink roses, purple lilacs, and more. What stood out to me were the white roses that were splattered with blue colors. It brought me back to when I was younger.

Flashback
I jumped up and down as we passed the flower shop. My mom held my hand as she chuckled. "Mommy! Mommy! Can I have that one?" I asked in glee. I pointed to a white rose with the lightest blue color, that looked likeit was splattered in paint. She ruffled my hair and bent down.

"Honey, we'll buy one later ok?" She said and I pouted. I nodded, though. She brought me along the sidewalk as we passed by tiny side shops.

"Now mom can we get it? "I asked, excited. She laughed and shook her head, as we walked by another flower shop.

"Honey, it has only been a minute. Can you wait till daddy comes? "She asked with the hopeful smile. I not it with my head bobbing up-and-down.

Later that night, Dad came home with a rose and I looked at it awe.

Back to normal time
"Aralynn," Evie called out. I snapped out of my throat and looked at her in curiosity. "Are you coming or not? "She asked as she put her hands on her hips. I nodded as they ran up to catch up to her. Shook my head as I blinked a few times questioning why this popped up again.

"You OK?" Evie asked and I nodded my head, absently. Her eyes narrowed as we walked but suddenly she gave up and ignored my odd behavior.
