"Hailey, get up! Time for school!!" cried my mom, banging on the door. I groaned.
Today was the first day of my last year in high school. Not my idea of fun. I just wanted to curl up in bed and sleep.
But contrary to popular belief I got off my lovely, comfortable bed and went into the shower.
After soaking my mahegony hair with water and my lavender shampoo, I was able to wake up a little. I've been using lavender ever since I was a baby, because I loved it that much.
I donned a sleeveless green tank top and black jeans, after which I put on a white button up on top of that-unbuttoned- and folded the sleeves up to my elbows.
I quickly put my hair into a messy damp up-do, grabbed my book bag and slid down the staircase. I was in the middle of gulping down my breakfast, when my little sister Harper entered the room.
"Leeeee, I want some jam!!" she cried. She was always in a sour mood when she just gets up. Her golden hair was a complete mess, but she still looked as cute as a teddy bear.
I quickly fixed her breakfast and rushed out, just as my best friend Tasha pulled up, and honked.
"You trying to wake up the whole neighbourhood girl?" I asked.
"Maybe. Now get in we still have to pick Sharon." she said. Looks like someone's in a bad mood.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Tess had a tantrum this morning, and my mom was pissed the entire morning." she groaned.
Tasha had four sisters, one who was currently in college and the other three who were younger than her.
Tatiana was the eldest, then Tasha, third was her fifteen year old almost always grumpy sister Taylor, then her ten year old sister Tamara and finally her adorable four year old sister Tess. The Peterson's had a pretty large family.
"Chill dude, it's our first day! One more year and we'll be outta this hell hole." I said.
Suddenly my phone started ringing.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hey Lee, won't be coming with you guys today, going with Nick." I heard Sharon say over the phone.
"Finally got him to take you out huh?" I asked wiggling my eyebrows, although I knew she wouldn't be able to see them.
"No! He was just kind enough to drop me since you guys are so late." she said. I heard a male voice, on the other end which I assumed was Nick.
I giggled. "Sure. Keep telling yourself that." I laughed.
"Okay, meet you guys at school, bye." and she cut the line.
I turned to Tasha, who had a smile playing around her lips.
"She finally got him huh?" she laughed.
"Guess we owe her ten dollars now." I replied, laughing.
We'd made a bet that sweet old Nick Anderson would not fall for Sharon Myers temptress ways.
Looks like we were wrong.

"I knew Rachel and Jacob would end up together." smiled Sharon. I looked over at the happy couple, sitting together across the lunch room, at a table all to themselves. Sharon was one of the most famous girls around school. She probably had the whole school at the flick of her fingers.
She was also drop dead gorgeous, with her almost white straight hair and her lean figure, not to forget her crystal blue eyes.
Tasha was more Asian, with her almond shaped brown eyes, her olive skin and her jet black hair. She looked like a living model. She had lots of connections, in the business world because of her father and at school. Not to mention the trillions of admirers.
