                                                                                     Max's POV

"Hey Al! Where's Richie?" I shouted out as Alex opened the door to my Lamborghini. He smiled as he sat down, appreciating the interior.

"Would you stop calling me that? I sound like some stuck up rich kid!" I heard an angry growl come from the back of the car, as the door opened and someone jumped in.

"Uh-that's the point." I retorted, glancing up at the mammoth sized palace Richard called home.

We drove all the way to the one shopping mall in our town that had a bowling alley. When we got there, I parked my beautiful Lamborghini, and we headed towards the building's entrance. We hoped into the elevator and head to the top most floor, which was where the bowling alley was located.

I looked at my watch.

"What time is Si getting here?" I voiced out.

"At nine thirty." growled an american accented feminine voice from behind me. A very familiar feminine voice. I whipped my head around to come face to face with a red haired raging storm. She was wearing a casual black and white stripped top and black jeans. Her hair flowed down the sides of her frame, and her hands were on her hips.

God, was I checking her out? What the hell?

I could see that she was practically doing the same thing. I caught her eye and she blushed.

"Missed me so much huh?" I said, trying to hide the embarrassment of checking out my ex-best friend.

"Excuse me? I wouldn't do that even if we were the last people left on this planet." Was my lovely reply.

"Do what? Check me out?" I asked, smirking.

She fell straight into that one. Looking flustered she tried to look everywhere but me. Her face was a big thunderstorm of emotions, some of them unreadable. That was odd. I'm usually good at reading people.

Suddenly, I felt a little guilty.

"Duh, what else?" came the reply, washing the guilt away.

"Jeez, don't get all riled up about it! It's okay to check extremely hot guys out. I understand. Girls just can't help it. I get it." I winked.

What in God's name was I driving at?

"Why you little, stupid, good for nothing excuse for a human being with-with um-" she said, before I cut her off.

"Love, nothing about me is little." I stated.

"Everything about you is-" she innocently started.

"Hello, other people also present here!" the blond haired girl who was standing next to her stated. I then remembered her name, Shalon or Sharon or something.

"Ah sorry Shalon but-" I started.

"Sharon, now move. We were just leaving." she commanded as she pulled Bee towards the entrance of the bowling alley.

Okay, so I was wrong. Her name was Sharon.

Alex turned to me and gave me a look. I just shrugged. Richard sighed, shifting in slight discomfort.

I didn't do anything wrong. Did I?

"C'mon. We're gonna go apologize and have a friendly bowling match." Said Alex.

"What? Why?" I groaned. How am I supposed to stay away from Bee like this?

"They may not be your friends but they are mine. Let's go!! Chop chop!!" Alex replied, clapping his hands as he followed Sharon's strong gait, Richard trailing behind him.

I sighed and pushed toward the bowling alley's entrance. I see Bee go up to the man who was in charge of the shoes and ask l for one that would fit her. Sharon had already taken hers and was putting them on.

I felt myself tense up as I see the guy at the counter checking Bee out. I saunter towards her purposefully. Sensing me she quickly grabs the shoes and heads toward the other end of the room.

I feel guilt enter my bloodstream. Maybe I was a little too mean. Both times. But I did need to stay away from her. Although if I'm closer to her, if a calamity arises I would be there to protect her. But if I was not anywhere near her, the calamity wouldn't even arise!

Oh crackers! This was bloody confusing!

"Listen Bee, I didn't mean it like that." I started.

"Apology not accepted." She replied, haughtily.

"Jeez Bee, don't bite your arm off. I was only kidding!" I cried.

"God, you're so British-y!" she murmured, tying her laces, turning away and trying to ignore me.

"Uh-was that an insult?" I asked, slightly confused.

"Uh-" she pretended to think, placing a pretty finger on her chin. "Yes," she said, shooting me an angry glare.

What would I do now? Suddenly an idea creaped into my beautiful mind.

"Why are you actually here?" I asked.

"Duh. To Bowl?" She replied.

"And how exactly is it that you are in the same place Si and his feminine companion will be?"

"Her name is Tasha you jerk."

"So you did come here to date crash!"

So Simon had actually asked that Tasha girl out! Well good for me. Now my phone wouldn't get flooded with messages of him not being able to know how to ask the girl out. Happy day!

"Of course not! We came here to relax and bowl!" Her voice a bit higher than normal.

"Bowl huh? So let's bowl." I said smirking.

"What?" She started.

"Hailey Elizabeth Thompson, I hereby challenge you to a bowling match." I stated.

I saw the gleam of the the fire I'd lit shine in her eyes. She was going to except. She never turned down a challenge.

"Deal."  She replied sticking out her hand and I gripped it and shook it. I suddenly felt an electrifying feeling enter my body, so I quickly let go. She looked a little started but she shrugged it off and walked towards Sharon.

I knew I was going to win. I always used to win when we played bowling as kids. This was going to be a piece of cake.

Alex came up to me looking slightly bewildered. "We're going to play a match with them?"

"Yup."

"Friendly match right?" He enunciated.

"Definitely. VERY Friendly." I said, my voice dripping with sarcasm.
