Hailey's POV

I opened my eyes to a very messy room. What had happened last night? I rubbed my sleep induced eyes and took in the scene, at the end of which my eyes were wide open.

I then remember drifting off to sleep on my bed after updating my blog. I got of the bed and started cleaning up after the mess I'd made last night searching for something to wear. Suddenly realization hit me. I had been nice to Max. This wasn't how it was supposed to go! I was supposed to ignore him until he apologized profusely and got down on his knees, which he almost never did. I almost face palmed myself for my incorrigible mistake. I huffed and picked out something to wear and after cleaning up my bed, I laid the clothes on it. It was a simple outfit. Something comfortable that I wore on a holiday.

Our school was one of the most bizarre schools on the face of this planet. It made us come on weekends, although they'd usually compensate for it later on. And for that very reason, today being a Monday was a holiday. I sighed happily and went into the bathroom to take a shower.

I turned on the shower and after stripping down, I stepped into it. The hot water hit my skin and I rubbed my sore muscles which were hurting due to the awkward position I'd slept in. I thought about what I was going to do about Max. He wasn't going back to being my best friend that was for sure. He was so bi polar, that was the issue. One day he'd be friendly and nice, the next day dark and mysterious not to mention extremely annoying.

I stepped out of the shower after turning it off and shivered as the warmth left me instantly.I wrapped a towel around me and went into my room where I wore my favorite dark red button ups and a pair of black jeans. I was going to be meeting Tasha and Sharon at our favorite coffee shop.

When I got to Tim Hortons café and bakeshop, I saw that Sharon and Tasha was already seated in our booth. I went up to the counter to make my order. I felt my stomach grumbling and I realized I didn't actually have a proper dinner last night nor a proper breakfast today morning.

"Hey Hailey! How ya doin'?" asked Delia, the barista for the day and one of my good friends.

"I'm good. I'd like a-" I started, but she cut my off.

"A French vanilla and English Toffee?" came the voice of another man, Steve who was manning the cash register.

"How'd you know?" I asked curiously.

"Uh-because you've been ordering the same thing for the past nine years?" he asked.

"Oh yea." I mumbled as I waited for my drink. I quickly collected and slumped into the seat between Tasha and Sharon .

"Hey!" they both greeted me. I smiled in return, sipping my drink. It was heavenly. I closed my eyes and savoured the taste. Nine years and it still made my taste buds go wild.

"So we were talking about Tasha's date!" cried Sharon, catching my attention.

I looked at Tasha smiling widely. "So, How was it???" I asked.

"It was fine until you showed up!" she grumbled.

"I know, when we showed up it escalated to amazing!" cried Sharon once more, talking a bit from her donut.

I just rolled my eyes and looked at Tasha.

"Tell me what happened." I stated, looking her in the eyes, amused.

"Okay." She slumped.
