"You need to try these out! Seriously." Sharon showed us, what her uncle had given her. It was small device that was as small as a pea and could be put into your ear quite easily.

"What is it?" asked Tasha, curious. I just stared at it, rubbing the sleep off my eyes.

"It's mainly like earphones, but it uses Bluetooth connection and like, it can't be seen." Explained Sharon.

"Cool." I grumbled, hopping of the bed, grabbing my clothes and heading for the bathroom. I was the last to get up and Tasha and Sharon had already finished using the washroom and were dressed.

Tasha was expertly eye lining her eyes, while Sharon was showing us her uncle's latest gizmo, which he'd manage to get for her. Her uncle was an inventor of sorts. He worked at Stein Labs, a place where some of the world's greatest minds worked at. But, whenever he managed to make something new but small, he'd always make some copies for his favourite niece and her two best friends of course.

I stepped into the shower and turned on the tap. Freezing cold water sprayed onto me as I yelped. "You guys used up all the hot water?!!?" I shouted. Laughter was the response I got.

When I came out of the bathroom Sharon was talking to the air.

"Sharon? Are you okay up there?" I asked pointing at my head. She laughed as a response.

"Sure, I am. No, I wasn't talking to you Tasha. Listen, call you back later." She said.

"Oh, are you using the wireless earphone thing?" I asked, curiously.

"Yup."

"Where's Tasha gone?" I asked, as we cleaned the room up.

"Oh, she had to get to school early. Ms. Bernard had called her in."

I mouthed an 'o' and grabbed my bag, before we headed downstairs. Mrs Bernard, was the most fashionable not to mention youngest, fashion studies teacher in our school.

We headed towards the kitchen, where Harper's face came into view.

"Lee!!" she cried as she burst into tears.

"What is it?" I asked as I crouched down to get a better look at her.

"Mommy's not lemmi go to Petar's house." She choked out, between sobs.

"Who's Peter?" I asked her, confused. Harper and many friends at her primary school that she hates to go to, although I think she secretly loves it. I think.

"You don't know Peeter?!!" she droned, as if everyone knew Peter.

"Eva's youngest." I heard my mom say, as she came into view.

"Oh." I said, remembering the boy that came out of the car along with Harper. I tried not to think about last night and me ogling at Max. Was he going to come to school today? Maybe he was going to go to a private school. After all he was pretty loaded.

"I wannna goo." Wailed Harper, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Harper Victoria Thompson. No, means no. maybe tomorrow. They need to rest now." Said my mother curtly.

I sighed. "Peri, Peter is very tired now, he needs to sleep a little so that he can play with you. You can go tomorrow when he's not sleeping."

"B-But-"

"You don't want him to be sleepy while you play do you?" I asked.

"No." she said, her eyes downcast.

"Then today, let him rest and tomorrow you can play with them the whole day." I said, stressing on the whole.

"Okay." She said sniffling and then giving me a toothy smile.
