I wrote this epilogue Sat, Sep, 19th, 2015. This idea just popped in my head so I had to write it down before I forgot. I already knew how I wanted this story to end before I even knew that this whole story was all in her head.

"Damien, don't let me go!"

Lavender was clutching unto Damien's arm, her nails almost digging through his skin, and her cheeks wet with tears.

Damien threw a concerned glance at his sleeping wife. Two days turned into a week of nightmares, the nightmares always the same. He was afraid that her nightmares would affect their unborn child permanently.

"Shhh. It's okay, love. I'm okay. I'm not going anywhere."

Just like every other time, her eyes would spring open at the sound of his voice and she would fervently hug him. Her fingers would pull on his beard and comb through his hair as a confirmation that the dream was over.

"We want ice-cream and yogurt while watching cartoons."

"You're so simple, I love it." He turned on the television, handing her the remote. "But, you have to eat breakfast first."

Lavender curled her bottom lip. Damien shook his head; "That's not gonna work on me, Muffin. Not today."

As Damien began preparing breakfast, Blossom offered to help. She was just as considerate as her mother.

"Dad, can you tell me how you got all those scars? I'm old enough now."

And equally curious.

He sat on the stool, watching her neatly dish out the breakfast. Her plate mostly consisted of sliced green apples and peanut butter. Her all time favorite.

"I got my scars from the man that I grew up with, aka grandma's boyfriend and uncle Jacob's dad."

"What happened to your daddy?"

"He was grandma Sophia's dad."

"Huh?"

Damien ruffled Blossom's wild hair, looking down at her. "It's complicated. I'll tell you the rest when you're-"
