Damien strolled out of the hospital room, glancing at his best friend one last time and slightly feeling a little too excited to get into bed with Lavender.
To wrap his arms around her, and pull her so close to the point where they were completely connected.
Heart, body, and soul connected.
Lavender made him climax without the sex. She made him feel in a matter of two months.
Two fucking months.
His heart thumped against his chest. It wasn't out of anger nor was it because of fear. It felt like anticipation and something else he couldn't quite figure out as yet.
The feeling similar to what you got as a kid before your innocence was destroyed. Before you had other things to worry about. That feeling when you saw your mother with her arms wide open, ready to receive you into her comforting arms.
Damien sighed to himself, disappointed at how his mother chose materialistic things over her children. He shook his head, bringing his thoughts to the real issue at hand.
Because of Lavender, he was overwhelmed with those kinda emotions that left him with a feeling of eagerness and happiness.
The feeling was unfamiliar because he hadn't felt that feeling in years, but Damien oddly found satisfaction in it.
All because of Lavender.
For some reason, stepping into Shavon's cubicle made him realize how much he had feelings for her -- far stronger than before, but it wasn't love as yet.
Anything can happen in the short span of now and later, so he figured; Why not now?
Damien finally realized that it was always better now than never because later may be far too late.
He paced to his car with his hands deep down in his front pockets and eyes planted on the ground.
I'm not only physically attracted to her, but also emotionally attracted.
That one sentence kept repeating itself while he got in the car and even as he was driving home.
Thing is the answers revealed themselves, because he knew how he felt around her. Lavender made him feel some type of way that was unexplainable.
He smiled way more often than before; all because of Lavender.
The playful side of him that he had no idea that existed anymore had resurrected; all because of Lavender.
I should tell her, he decided as he slammed his car door shut. I should tell her before it's too late.
The more he kept making these decisions the faster he jogged to the house until he was practically sprinting to her.
I will tell her!
There were several times Damien almost fell, but it was worth it. Somehow he even managed to hit his head on the metal pole in the living room, but he ignored the pain like it was nothing.
All because of Lavender.
When he finally reached his bedroom door, he was so utterly excited to tell Lavender how he felt whether he lost the game or not, that he lost all his senses.
He pushed the door open, and as he walked in he pulled it close with him still in front of the door that he ended up with a bloody nose.
"OH FUCK IT," he yelled as he took off both his jacket. "Lavender!"
