Lavender watched as Liam looked down at his phone, then tossed it on the bed. There was something off about Liam, but being the person he was he easily smiled it off.
"Too busy that you couldn't answer your best friend's message?" she demanded in mock shock.
"It's not-"
Someone barged into Liam's room, shoving him to the side to look at the screen. The boy had two prominent dimples and Liam's nose and mouth.
"Hello beautiful, I'm Liam's younger, more handsome brother, Kyle."
"Here we go," Liam murmured, knowing how Lavender was a dimple freak and how his brother was a flirt. He rolled his eyes and slapped his hand across his cheek, walking out of his room.
"You're handsome alright," Lavender squealed at the younger boy. Kyle piercing his lips to make his dimples deeper. "I'm Lavender."
He sucked in his cheeks then blew his cheeks out looking like a blowfish. Lavender giggled and he joined her.
"Let's take a pausey," Liam demanded, walking back in. He held his hand up as if he was about to preach with his back pressed against his closed room door. "I am not going to watch you two do the talkey. Kyle, she's three years older than you."
"Age ain't nothing but a number, bro. So can you shut up and let us do the 'talkey'?"
"And jail isn't nothing but a room now get out," Liam told his brother when a woman who was holding a toddler entered. The little girl with her two puffs suddenly jumped up in excitement when she saw Liam.
"Who's the best uncle in the world?" Liam asked the little girl in a baby voice while he poked her chubby cheeks. His sister seemed more than relieved to get a break from her daughter.
"You or oncle weam."
"Oh, yes I am, Callie."
"Right," Kyle started as he turned to face Lavender. "See how he's brainwashed our niece?"
"Uncle Kyle is just jealous because you love me more," Liam gleamed. Callie let out happy giggles while Liam tickled her, revealing her set of dimples.
Kyle took a snicker bar out of his pocket and showed it to Callie. Immediately, Callie wiggled out of Liam's grasped and into Kyle's.
"Callie, you betrayed me," Liam pouted, wiping away fake tears. "I'm hurt."
Callie squirmed until Kyle let her go and hugged Liam's leg. Liam picked her up and kissed her cheeks, opening his mouth so that she can give him some snicker and she did.
For the second time, Kyle turned to look at Lavender again. "Where were we?"
A deep voice questioned before Lavender could speak; "Liam, where's my beanie?"
"Ask Kyle," Liam answered, playing peek a boo with his niece.
Kyle shot up, groaning. The person's face came into view when he leaned over to give Callie a high five.
He resembled an older, manlier version of Liam and Kyle. His jaw was more structured with a more defined dimple. He was shirtless so Lavender got to see how well built he was.
"Yum, Lele," Lavender whispered, licking her lips. "Your older brother looks just like you, except he's more of a sexy god."
"That doesn't hurt at all," Liam said.
"How is it that all of y'all look alike? The least you could've done was give him my number."
Liam laughed; "My brother is already taken."
