"Ok, students, welcome. Sit down," said Mrs. Cuncun, our Math teacher.

Oliver was here. There was a free seat next to him. I sat on it. He moved away from me. Seriously? Now there was an empty seat between us. Another girl sat there. Oliver didn't move away.

We started working.

At one point, I felt an urgent need to blow my nose. So I took out a pack of tissues. It was a Hello Kitty pack with pink tissues that smelled like flowers. Childish, but I really needed them.

"Can I have one?" asked Nick, a guy from my class.
"Sure," I answered, passing him a tissue.
"Can I have one too?" questioned Oliver.
"Yeah, of course."

Now I was seriously wishing I had a normal pack. Oh, well.
I passed him a tissue. He didn't use it. He played with it and, after a while, he just threw it away. Like crap.

I just didn't get it. Why did he even ask for a tissue if he wasn't going to use it? And why did he throw it away? To torture me?

I was exaggerating, and I knew it, but I was confused. It was just a tissue, but I thought about it all day.
