The jock and the nerd. Or not

Day 39 (Saturday)

Ugh, I thought.

I had been trying to read for hours, but all I could think about was yesterday. I just couldn't believe he had lied like that.

Let me explain what happened. So, the day before, after my conversations with Julian, Liv came up to me and said:

"It's really mean what you just did to Julian."
"What did I do?" I asked.
"You said no to him rudely, without even giving an explanation."
"I said no to what?"
"Well he asked you out and you said no."

That's when I understood that Julian had manipulated us. He told Liv that he liked me, then he told me that Liv had gotten it all wrong and that he didn't like me, and then he told Liv that I had rejected him meanly.

I explained all of that to Liv. After a lot of persuading, she finally believed me.

"Do you want me to go talk to him or ask him why he did that?" Liv questioned.
"No thanks. I need a little break from Julian for now."

Still now, I couldn't believe he had lied to me and to Liv. He had made us both look like idiots.

In conclusion, he is just as much of a jerk as Oliver.
