I was in the bus going to school. And, since I hadn't seen him on the bus in a long time, I did not expect to see him. Especially not with that awful new haircut!
"Hi," I said, trying to ignore the horrible hair.
"Hey."Awkward silence...
"So, um, how's it going?" I asked, trying to keep the conversation going.
"Great."Awkward silence...
"How do you like school?" I ask, trying again.
"It's ok."That's it! Omg, say something! Ask me about myself, or at least give me longer answers to my questions!!! I thought.
"Anything interesting you would like to share?" I tried for the last time.
"Nah."You know what, fine. If you don't wanna talk, don't talk I won't force you. And by the way, you're haircut looks absolutely terrible, I thought to myself.
I felt as if Xander and I had lost that connection I thought we had. But then again, maybe it was just my imagination the whole time and there was never a connection. I DON'T KNOW!!!
