The jock and the nerd. Or not

Day 22 (Wednesday)

"Hey," I tell Xander.

We're in the bus, going to school.

"Hey," he answers as he sits next to me.

He sat next to me! He could have sat somewhere else, but he sat next to me! Well, actually, it was the only free seat, but he still sat next to me! He could have stayed standing up, but he didn't!

Anyways, we started talking.

"Have you seen the movie that just came out?" he asked me.
"No, but I really want to! Have you?"
"Yeah, yesterday night," he mentioned.
"Cool!" I exclaimed.
"I guess."
"How was it?" I questioned.
"Pretty good."

We kept on chatting until he got up and said,

"Let's go."

That was our stop! I hadn't realized, it had come so fast! He saved my life!

"Gosh, thank you so much!" I told him.
"For what?" he asked.
"For reminding that this is our stop!" I replied matter-of-factly.
"Oh, ok," he said in an extremely confused tone.

As soon as we had gotten out of the bus, he ran towards someone. It was one of his friends. They started talking and all. And I was just standing there. He had literally just left me there. Like a piece of crap.

He hadn't even said goodbye! He just left. Boys suck.
