One bullet penetrated Paul's left leg causing him to land chest down on the floor. Joe points the gun back at the shooter pulling the trigger twice, it hits him once on his shoulder, once on his stomach.

He runs towards Paul, "Are you okay?"
"Not really" he mouths between breaths.
"I'll get you out of here" assures Joe while looking around but he kneels startled as he hears more gun shots, then a girl yelling, its Rachel.
"Over here!" She signals from a door she's holding open.
"Hold on, we're almost out this hell" he whispers lifting Paul, he runs as quickly as able towards Rachel.

Once out she slams the door behind them and together they lead Paul to the bus.
"Your old man's a drag" he jokes with a tired voice.
Her eyes are teary but she manages a small laugh, "don't talk, you're hurt...I'm so sorry, I never wanted anything bad to happen to you, or your friends."
"This is not your fault" comforts Joe, "we're fond of getting in trouble."

Once inside the bus Candy jumps into Joe's arms, "I thought you were gone." He smiles wiping her tears, "I'm not going anywhere without you, angel," they kiss.
Rachel stands on the steps, "I'll make sure they don't go after you, but leave as quickly as you can!" She sighs, "Sorry again, perhaps one day we'll meet again in better circumstances." She steps outside and Paul jumps out behind her with a bleeding leg, he's barely able to stand.

"What are you doing?!"
"Come with us Rachel, we've got space for one more in the gang."
She looks down, "I can't, I'm not free, you gave me that illusion but it was just, that."
"You were born free"
She shakes her head while whispering "no."
Paul lifts her chin, "Come to London when you've found freedom"
She nods faking a smile, as if to compensate.
"Promise?" He holds her face closer to his own as she whispers "I promise."
They kiss goodbye while their arms entwine each other, he takes off a silver necklace he'd worn during the tour and places it in her hand, "keep this, so you will remember me."
She holds it close to her heart, "I'll never forget you" and kisses him again before stepping back so the bus, along Paul and the others, can make its way out of France, out of Rachel's life. She breaks down and cries.

Hello Faithful readers! I hope you guys enjoyed these last 3 chapters, It was my first time writing anything like "action" so excuse me if it was mediocre, I did have fun trying it out though. Let me know if there's something I could do better.
On a diff note thank you all so much for reading/voting and commenting, you guys make me the happiest person. This story is coming to an end, as all things must pass. 2 more parts only. I'm unsure about writing a third installment, it depends on how many more views/votes this one gets and if y'all want another.
AND IF YOU DONT KNOW, KNOW YOU KNOW. ok I'll shut up, xx Have a lovely rest of the week xx
