Chapter Eighteen: Piper
Last Chapter Recap (with English translation)
"Romans," Piper said, her voice so influential that all Romans turned their heads up to her. "Lend me your ears, I will sing you a lullaby."
And with that, she sang the most beautiful lullaby Nico had ever heard. And the Romans drifted off to sleep.
"Sleep tight."

"YOU WHAT?!"
"That's what he told me to do!"
"You sang them to sleep!"
"That's what he told me to do!"
"You made our friends sleep!"
"I forgot they were Romans!"
"Arrrggh!"
"Don't get mad at me! Get mad at Frank!"
And that's what set Leo in flames.
Piper, annoyed, knelt beside the snoring Jason, who also fell asleep because she charmspoke (or should I say "charmsang"? It sounds weird.) her enemies to sleep. And Frank, forgot that he too, along with Jason and Hazel, were also Romans.
Oh, that son of Mars.
The plan should go on like this:
1. Charmspeak the Romans to sleep.
2. Tie their hands with a rope and wake them up.
3. Convince them that they didn't do the firing at the camp on purpose. (Since they were tied in ropes they couldn't escape or kill them.)
4. Stop their rivalry.
5. Save Percy and Annabeth.
6. Fight Gaea.
Easy as cake, right? (A/N: Note the sarcasm?)
She looked at Hazel who was snoring peacefully between Jason and Frank. She just really can't believe that a child of Ha--Pluto, would look so much like an angel and the fact that she was Nico's half-sister. She would never suspect the both of them to be siblings if she didn't know them.
Piper rubbed her temple. The way she used her ability drained the energy out of of her. She felt really tired and a tad lightheaded. But an Apollo kid gave her nectar and ambrosia so that really prevented her to faint after she put the Romans to sleep.
She stood up and looked at Leo. "Can someone please pour him a bucket of water?"
"Percy would've done that..." a girl from Hephaestus cabin said.
She looked at everybody. They were just staring at her in awed silence. She saw Nico emerge from the restroom with a bucket of water and poured it hard onto Leo which made him slipped on the ground.
"Hey!"
The son of Hades, of course, just shrugged.
"Are you done now?" Piper asked Leo, who just laid still on the ground muttering a few curses in Greek. "Could you pull down the rope ladder so we can come down?"
"I'll do it..." Coach Hedge mumbled.
Everybody tried everything they can to get the three Romans to wake up; shout as loud as they can, blow whistles near their ears, they even slapped their faces (I know, a bit brutal). After several more failed attempts, they all agreed to hop the three of them in each pegasus and bring them to Chiron for help.
