Chapter Twenty: Percy (Part 1)
TWO HOURS BEFORE
"No escaping now, Perseus, you are now in my embrace." She simpered, followed by a low chuckle.
He looked at Annabeth, who was lying helplessly on the ground, shivering of fright. His eyes pleadingly locked with her gray ones, giving her the message,
Run.
Which Annabeth returned with a,
N to the O, NO.
Which Percy replied with a,
Y to the E to the S, YES.
Honestly, the two of them are just really hardheaded. And stubborn. And well, you get the idea.
Percy struggled to break loose from Arachne's webs, but he just seemed to fail. His arms and legs had been tied to the ground and Arachne on top of him just added up to the problem. "Getting cozy there, Jackson?" The spider on top of him asked.
Percy, being the stubborn person he is, replied, "Oh yes, your web is much more cozy than my pillow, milady."
Arachne might have bought the sarcasm. "Really? Well, this web is the finest of them all."
Percy looked over the creature as his eyes locked once again at the pale girl in front of him. She helplessly dragged herself to her weapon a several feet away from him. As Arachne was still continuing about her web being the--what did she say? Finest? Yeah, that's it; Percy started tapping his feet in a sporadic rhythm..
Annabeth stopped dragging herself and listened intently at where the sound had come from. Her eyes gazed around, squinting, as it landed on Percy. After a few short and long tappings, Annabeth's eyes widened as she recognized what he is trying to do or say.
Morse code.
He smiled to himself as he continued tapping his feet while Arachne continued to babble nonsense. After a few short taps, Annabeth gave him the thumbs up as she dragged herself to her backpack.
He felt happy to have Annabeth by his side. And he was also happy that he learned Morse code during his spare time back in Camp Jupiter. Boy, all those little things you hated doing but is helpful when the time comes.
Then, he started talking to Arachne with his charms and sarcasm as Annabeth started off to work.
I'll talk to her, and you brain her from behind.

A/N: Okay this chapter is just....uggghhh.
Forgive me guys for this crappy chapter, I mean, I only wrote it for like 30 FLIPPING MINUTES.
Okay.
First of all, I know I haven't updated for like two to three weeks now and I apologize. I mean, you know how school is, right? You study for 5 days a week and you only have two days for a break? I mean, come on.
Second, since I know there haven't been a lot of Percy POVs for this fanfic, I decided to give it a chance. So this chapter will be Part 1, and if there is a Part 1, there is a Part 2. And this will end until only part 3 and then we will proceed to the next POV. I have thought of this because Percy POVs have LOTS of cliifys and if I end a chapter with a cliffhanger, you still need to wait for five or four chapters to be written before the next Percy POV. And I don't want you guys to suffer.
Third, THIS FANFIC IS LIKE 5.3K reads! AHHHHHH! Rejoice! Thank you sooooo much you guys! I just like, love you all, okay?
I LOVE YOU ALL JUST AS BLACKJACK LOVES DONUTS.
Patience is a virtue, you guys. Keep this in mind.
