Levi X Reader - speechless

"EVERYONE RETREAT!" Commander Erwin commanded. It was your 3rd expedition since you enrolled into the Survey Corps and your first retreat. So in other words, you were scared Sh!tless.

Your horse was running full speed back to the group since your boyfriend Farlan wanted you to scout. You headed back and saw blood everywhere. The trees, ground, in the streams, everywhere. Dismembered bodies lay tangled in a heap and broken blades were either stuck into the dirt or laying covered in blood.

"(F/N)!!" A voice called from behind. It was Levi, the man who's saved you countless times but never made a big deal about it. "Thank God you're still alive. We need you, we're losing
numbers fast." Your heart skipped a beat. Losing numbers fast....Farlan! You and your horse raced back to the others. But the wee no more others, it was the same bloody image again and again and again.

There Farlan was, laying on the floor ripped in half, your heart along with it. "Who did this to you?" You whispered asking your beloved one as you knelt next to his body. "I'll make sure that bastard dies in the most painful way possible." You vowed. Just as you finished, you spotted a Titan munching on something from the corner of your eye. "Come to die."

As you approached it, you saw it was just finishing off Isabel, your best friend. "You bastard!" You screeched as you ran towards it. It saw you and spat out the last remaining part of her. It growler and its red eyes gleamed in the darkness the clouds created. It lunged for you but you were ready.

"You-" Slash "-shitty-" cut "-bastards-" stab "-all-" slit "-deserve-" chop "-to-" snip "-DIE!" And sliced it's nape beautifully. You landed elegantly as Levi came to your aid.

"That was beautiful (F/n) but we need to go!"

"No! I will not leave them behind!" You yelled resisting his grasp but he was strong, escaping his clasp wouldn't be easy. "We can't leave a soldier behind! Dead or alive!" You screeched trying to fight Levi off you, but he was strong. Much more stronger than you.

"(F/n) listen, you've been wounded and you need to be treated. Please, there's nothing else we can do here. I'm sorry for your loss, Farlan was like a brother to me, I'm in grief too." Levi said a little gentler making you stop struggling. You've never seen your corporal this upset, his eyes were glassy with tears and his lips quivered. He was about to break down in front of you, a soldier in his squad.

"I'm sorry......" Was all you could manage before you burst into tears. He wrapped his arms around you pulling you closer to his warm body. You buried your face into the crook of his neck and sobbed your heart out.

"Come on, we need to regroup." Levi said returning to his old stoic self. You smiled and pulled away straightening your uniform. "Yes sir." You saluted your corporal and shot your 3DMG into the trees.

"Not a word about this to anyone. Understood?" Levi hissed next to you.

"Of course Levi." You smiled

~Three years later~

"ALRIGHT YOU POOPNOBLERS! NOW I DONT WANT NO SCREWIN' AROUND!-" you heard Keith yell to the 104th trainees. You smiled since you received the same inspiring speech when you and Levi were trainees. "-AND IT WAS AWKWARD-" at that high pitched 'awkward', you burst out laughing making Keith stop his speech and glare at you.

"Major (L/n), do you have a problem?" Keith asked you with a wink.

"I sure do! That word 'awkward' was so high pitched!" You laughed clutching your stomach.

"Well then! Would you like to host the session today?" Keith challenged.

"Why not?" You smirked at stepped into the platform. "Alright listen up here brats, just because I seem nicer, doesn't mean I won't go tough on you kiddos.-" from the corner of your eye, you saw two guys snickering and mumbling something to each other.

"KIRSTEIN! You got something funny to share with the rest of us?" You demanded. You smirked when you saw him froze with a wash of pure terror across this features.

"How did...." He started but you cut him short. "I studied all your files, as major, I should know all the new trainees. Now, what would you like to share with us?" His face grew bright red and he sunk into the others.

"He said you had a nice ass ma'am!" The boy beside him saluted earning snickers from the crowd and a horrified look from Jean.

"Well then, you're here to train, not to admire others' asses. I'll get Le- ahem. Your corporal to deal with you." You smiled. "Now the rest of you brats, pair up and start your hand to hand combat. Your corporal and I will be testing you every now and then" with that, you walked off leaving Jean to face his nightmare.

"I saw and heard all that." A stoic deadpan voice stated from around the corner.

"I'm well aware of that Levi." You smiled turning to face him. "That's why I said it."

"Brat."

"Am not!"

"Are too!"

"Am not!"

"Okay enough (F/n)." Levi held up a hand.

"Since when did you call me by my first name?" You asked with a sly tone.

"Whatever." Levi smirked and walked off. "You know you love me!" You yelled after him. He froze but he kept walking. That made you really confused.

~Dinner time~

"Major (L/n)!" Jean called you and saluted. "I apologise deeply for the comment I made during your speech."

"I see Levi I mean your corporal dealt with you?"

"Yes ma'am! But with respect, you do have a nice ass-" before he had a chance to finish, you saw a leg make contact with his face.

"Beat it horse face. You have the stables to clean." Levi snapped making Jean run away in fear. By now, everyone in the mess hall was looking at you three. Well two now. "What are you brats looking at?!" Levi snapped again making the trainees jump and return to their food.

"(L/n), my office. Now!" Levi yelled at you and stomped off leaving you in a very confused state. But you decided to follow him before he kicks someone in the face again.

"You have a thing for horseface don't you?!" Levi demanded slamming the door shut when you entered.

"What the heck are you on about Levi?! Of course not! I'm actually glad you kicked him for me, I was about to slap him. I'm surprised you can reach his head to be honest." Levi glared at you for the last comment but you just snickered. "Oh come on Levi yuh know I don't mean it."

"I can't believe I've stuck to someone for so long. Let alone an annoying little someone!" Levi chuckled pouring himself some tea. For some reason, that made you blush.

"H-hey! I'm only 5cm shorter!" You stammered trying to hide your blush.

"Tch." Levi scoffed. "You know I love you~"

"Wait what did you say?" You straightened yourself after hearing that.

"Oh don't play dumb with me (F/n), I've noticed your actions wen I'm around and it's completely different." Levi explained. It's true you have developed feelings for Levi but for him to find out this way....

"Say it." Levi commanded.

"Wait what?"

"I want to hear it from you. Say it."

"I-I...I love you!" You blurted out with your cheeks now aflame.

"That's better. I love you too." Levi smiled kissing you softly on the lips.
