{Erwin x Reader}

"Fouth Squad Leader!" A cadet called to you. The cadet was awfully short, much like you childhood friend, Ciel, from England. "Commander Erwin would like to see you in his office. (F/n)."

"You so do remember me Ciel." You said smiling at him. He looked at you expressionless and saluted.

"Yes. I do."

"Alright then, Ciel. Return to your duties, thank you for alerting me." You smiled and walked the oppostie direction to your commander's office. I missed Ciel a huge lot. But why would he join the military when he had such a peaceful life in England with Sebastian? Before you know it, you were already standing outside the commander's door. You took a deep breath and knocked.

"Come in (F/n)." Came the calm reply. You opened the door quietly and slipped in through the small opening.

"I'm not Levi, I won't throw books at you if you opened the door." He chuckled from his desk. You smiled faintly and sat down at the empty chair in front of his desk.

"I have a question Commander." You said quietly.

"Go on."

"Is the messenger cadet Ciel Phantomhive by any chance?"

"Yes, how did you know?" he asked a little taken back.

"We were childhood friends." I explained.

"I see, anyway, to business, we will be going on an expedition next week. I would like you to stay here and train Ciel."

"What?! I-I mea...but.."

"It's planned, sorry." You hung your head and stood up. You saluted and walked out of his office.

Why won't he let me go?! I am classed as the bravest soldier apart from Levi! It must've been Ciel's idea to keep me here. He would never let me do anything since he always saw me as reckless....But what if the one I love dies out there?

While you were laying on your bed deep in your thoughts, Ciel came into your room and sat at the foot of your bed.

"You know," You said when you noticed his presence. "You and Captain Levi should be good friends."

"Why is that?" he asked.

"Well both of you two are stoic, straightforward, cold and expressionless. Oh, and never smiles." You said.

"Oh. Well I've never really talked to him before...for I did only arrive Wall Rose yesterday." He sighed.

"Why leave England and Sebastian." You questioned. He flinched when you mentioned Sebastian's name.

"Did something-"

"No, nevermind, I better go." Ciel rushed out of your room leaving you full of questions. You shook your head and before you know it, you fell asleep without dinner.

You bid farewell to everyone going on the expedition. Even Commander Erwin.

"I'm counting on you to not do anything reckless and stupid (F/n)." Erwin told you sternly. You gulped and nodded. Sometimes he can be as scary as Levi when he is serious. Everyone disappeared outside the gate and you saluted to the closing gate.

"You're not going to stay are you (F/n)?" Ciel asked you from behind.

"Nope."

"You haven't changed one bit (F/n)." Ciel sighed and shook his head. "Well? What are you waiting for? Aren't you going to go?"

"Yeah....but aren't you going to stop me?"

"No, I'll come with you." He said. You were a little shocked at his words but smiled.

"okay, lets go." You two sped off beyond the walls. Ciel seemed braver and more independant than before....you thought to yourself. I wonder what happened in England....

"There they are!" Ciel shouted to me over the wind. He snapped his reins and increased speed.

"Wait! We can't be seen! Ciel! Come back!" You yelled. He turned and smiled.

"Why not?"

"I'll be dead meat if I'm seen disobeying orders." I shuddered. We stayed at a fair distance but then, a blue flare was fired. You exchanged glances with Ciel and made a U-turn.

"(F/N) (L/N) AND CIEL PHANTOMHIVE." Boomed a voice from behind you two. BUSTED! You turned your heads and smiled nervously.

"Y-yes commander?" you both stuttered.

"What are you-" Before he could ask you his question, you felt a tug on your cape as you were being lifted. Shit, a titan.

"GAHHHH!" You screamed in fear.

"Don't worry! I'll save you!" you heard the commander yell before you were envoloped by darkness.
