At half past five someone knocks on the door, three times, I expected it to be Kelly and her mother but it isn't

It's Alec

"So have you thought about it?" He asks me as I let him in

I have but I still can't decide

"I have and I.......think that we should give it another go" I say still a bit unsure, but, who knows maybe it will work out, and maybe if he cheats on me again I might be able to tell who it is

"Yay" he says like a little kid given chocolate

And he kisses me

It still feels the same as it used to but now it feels so wrong but I don't know why, is it because I might like Nathan more?

I'm sure I'm just not used to it, that's all, who am I kidding, I think I'm meant to be with Nathan but Alec is good enough I guess

"I'd better go" he says and I wave goodbye, seconds later the doorbell rings

I open it to find Kelly and her mother I let them in

"Dad your girlfriend is here" I yell up to him

"You must be Mira" Ms Edward says, yeah she already knows that but I guess her memory has been acting up lately

"Yeah I used to be best friends with your daughter" I say slowly

"Oh yeah, your that girl who is a bipolar weirdo, who makes things up and is really mean for no reason, oh and bossy and lazy and stupid" she says vaguely and I look at Kelly who looks very guilty

"I was really upset, I-" she starts but she gets interrupted

"If that's how you are going to speak to my daughter then get out" dad snaps at her and they leave in a huff

Well that was over fast now back to normal life, well as normal as it can be

Now I'm bored, I dot have anything to do besides from homework which I don't want to do

Someone knocks on the door

I am getting sick of this

I open it to find Gem who has decided to come out of hiding

"Hi" Gem says

"Hello, haven't seen you in a while" I say letting her in

"Sorry, been out of town" she tells me sitting down on the couch and turning on the tv, sitting down next to her

"Are you hungry?" I ask her a could minutes later, breaking the silence

"Yes" she answers

"What you would you like?" I ask standing up again and heading towards the kitchen

"Whatever your having" she says and I nod and go and bring out the brownies and the Fanta, and two cups

"Who's your friend?" Seth asks me from the kitchen counter

"Someone Yahtzee doesn't concern you" I reply

"So who is she?" He asks and I stuck my tongue out at him

"Please tell me" he whines

"Maybe if you don't talk or leave your to for the next month, then we'll see" I tell him and he runs to his room

"Who was that?" Gem asks me as I sit back down

"My half brother" I reply and she nods and takes half the brownies

"Leave some for me" I grumble and she laughs

We talk till late and finally she has to go home

"Had a good night?" Dad asks as I walk upstairs to my room

"Yeah" I reply smiling

"By the way I've decided that it's time for you to meet your mother" he tells me before disappearing once again
