"I think we should give the money to her parents and say that Amara stole because we were all teasing her about think that Dora were in love and were going to get married even though they were cousins" I suggest

"That's a good idea but I think Amara is going to kill you now" Nathan says smiling at me

And sure enough Amara does look like she wants to kill me

"Don't look at me like that I haven't ever done anything to you" I tell her

"Then shut up, I had no idea they were related" she replies

"How did you think they knew each other? Besides I'm sure there was an episode where she said he was her cousin" I pointed out

"Whatever but I'm not going to take the fall for Gem's stupidity" Amara says

"What about we put it on Gem's father's desk with a note and the date from two days ago like she put it there and make her father look like the stupid one" Nathan suggests

"That's a good idea" Amara agrees

"So basically we break in and put it on his desk without anyone noticing" I say getting excited

"No Amara will go over there saying she's got Gem's homework or they have to do a project together and she'll sneak into his office if it's clear" Nathan corrects

Okay so not at all exciting

"Let's do this" Amara says happy to not be breaking in

As we walk out of the school gates we see the police arresting someone

It doesn't take me long to recognise the person as jerkface, Fin or whatever his actual name is

"Good for him" I mutter

"Do you know him?" Nathan asks curiously

"Yeah he's Gem's brother and my brother's best friend and I'm pretty sure he's crazy" I reply

"That makes sense since he's related to Gem" Amara says 

"What is Gem's full name anyway?" Nathan asks

Why is he asking this now? Why is he even asking that at at all

"It could be just Gem, that's what everyone involving the principal calls her" Amara replies

"Nah, it's probably Gemima" I say "I think she hates it though so she won't answer if you call her that" I add

"Should we tell Gem that her brother's being arrested?" Amara asks 

"Yeah, I'll text her" I reply

"But her parents have her phone" Mara says confused

"Exactly so they'll found out quicker" I tell her

"Don't text her yet, wait until Amara puts the money on his desk, she can put it next to her phone and when they hear it beep they'll go to look and see the money" Nathan suggests

"Good idea" Amara agrees happily

Why is she always so happy?

"Or we could just break in the middle of the night" I suggest

"No we are not getting arrested just because we want to help Gem" Nathan says

So we're doing it the boring way I guess, just like we always do 

"We're here" I announce once we reach her house

"We'll wait over by that tree text us when your about to leave" Nathan tells Amara  and she nods before Nathan pulls me across the road to the ugly tree he was talking about

"What is taking her so long? I have a lot of homework to do" I complain

"They haven't even answered the door yet, how are you already bored?" Nate asks  me disbelief clear in his voice  I just shrug in response

"And did you imply that you actually want to do your homework" he question pure disbelief evident in his voice

"How else am I going to pass school? Don't sound too shocked Mr Perfect" I reply

"She's been in there for at least ten minutes, she should be done by now" I say irritated

This is so boring, when can I cause some trouble?

I think I've been hanging around Gem way too much. She's finally corrupted me.

"Maybe Gem's parents are talkers" Nathan replies

"Highly doubt it, talkers don't have children like Gem and Jerkface" I  tell him

"Jerkface?" Nate asks me looking at me quickly before going back to watching the house

"Fin, Gem's brother" I reply surprised that he didn't already know that

I'm sure he's heard me complain about him at some point

He probably wasn't listening to me which makes him a bad boyfriend but I'm a bad girlfriend so whatever

Now that I think about I haven't spent a lot of time with Nate lately, and when I have we've been with other people namely Amara who apparently has not other friends and sometimes Gem when she isn't grounded which is never anymore

"And she's done" Nate says and I quickly send the text about Finley getting arresting 

"Let's get out of here" I say as Amara approaches us

"Goddamn that boy!" A man-probably Gem's father shouts storming out of the house 

"Language!" His wife yells at him

"Oh you shut up! He promised that he wouldn't do this again!" He yells back at her

Well he's nice

"He's gotten arrested before?" Amara asks confused

"Yeah for dealing, possession of and taking drugs" I reply

"Seriously" Nate says

"Yep and so he and my brother both have criminal records, and both on the Sex offenders lost, they did some weird things when they were high" I reply

And Amara starts laughing

"How'd your brother get into law school then?" Nate asked

"You really don't want to know" I reply smiling 

"And now I really want to know" they both say at the same time

"Well one of the people they were selling drugs too was the administrator for law school and he bribed or blackmailed the rest of the people involved with law school" I reply

"So your brother is truly a criminal" Nate says laughing

"Definitely, did I tell you about the time when he tried to push me off a cliff?" I reply

"That didn't happen" Amara argues

"Oh yea it did" I say

"Really" she says believing it, she's very gullible
"Nope" I reply

"Did you really believe her? She's lies all the time" Nate states
