"Mira! we have a major issue!" Gem all but screams at me

"I know!" I shout back running down the stairs to talk to her

"Amara is going on a date with my brother!"  Gem yells

"I thought she was just kissing him!" I yell back, what have I missed?

"Well, they were and now they are going a date, we have to split them up now" she replies

"So operation break a heart or two for the sake of the world is a go?" i ask

"We need to shorten the name but yeah it is" she replies

we planned for something like this, granted i didn't think we'd need to use it on one of our so called friends but we are still prepared for it

"You guys are idiots, why am I even friends with you? just let them be happy" Nathan says to us coming down to join us

"Well, I'm your girlfriend, so and we're your only friends" I say and he just waves goodbye and leaves.

"No what do we do?" I ask

To be honest I can't exactly remember the plan but I'm just going to pretend I do

"We spy on them, find out what they dislike and use it against them" Gem replies

"Maybe Nathan is right, maybe we should just let it go and see how they work out" I say having second thoughts

"I thought you were my best friend" she whines in protest

"I am that's why I'm telling you to leave it be and be a normal teenager for once in your life" I reply and she flops onto the couch sad that I'm not letting her run around destroying people's lives for the sake of it

It sounds bad but it's actually really fun but Amara is my friend and I don't want her heart to be broken unless it has to be

Not that I like her choice in guys or anything, I mean, she could have chosen anyone else and they would have been way better, unless it was Charlie and if she had chosen him I would be screaming bloody murder. but it's her life and we can't control that

I sound so wise don't I? Dad is going to be so proud! Oh my god the kittens! And Tornado! I haven't fed them in like....ages. Eh, they'll be fine for another couple of hours. I don't even know when the kittens were last fed but they seemed happy enough

"Can we watch TV?" Gem asks as I sit next to each other

"Sure, what show?" I ask her turning the TV

"Teen wolf...or Supernatural" she replies

"Choose one" I order

"Supernatural it is then" she decides
Hurry up Netflix, gosh.

"Which season?" I ask her

"One" she replies and I press play and thankfully, Gem shuts up, for once. Let's hope it lasts.

"Please do not watch nine seasons in one evening again, you should be studying" dad scolds us turning the Tv of in the middle of a really good episode

"We were watching that!" Gem protests angrily, trust Gem to argue with my father who she actually hasn't meant before 

"And I want you two to study for once, since I'm not sure about you Gem but Mira is nearly failing five classes and failing three" he replies and walks away

With the Tv remote. I can't do anything related to school without the Tv, it's no wonder I'm failing I haven't watched any television in ages

"Why are there kittens in your room?" Gem asks coming back into the room, when did she leave?

"Don't ask" I reply and she dumps five or so books on the coffee table and the remote

How did she get the remote? I'm so confused as to what's happening
