Epilogue

We never did see Gem again, she left for New York that night. Her father had been given a job there which he took. At New York Gem changed, she no longer caused trouble, didn't steal anything and not once did she get a detention, suspension or get expelled. She was quiet, didn't speak during class or argue with the teachers. New York changed her for the worse.  She wasn't happy. She missed her boyfriend and her friends.

As much as anyone wants to believe it, love doesn't last forever. Probably because there is no such thing as love.
Even though Everyone thought that they'd be together forever, Patrice and Charlie divorced on their son's first birthday. Charlie won custody of Samuel. Two weeks later Charlie had a restraining order against Patrice and two months after that Patrice was arrested and was sentenced to fifteen years in jail. Charlie apologised to me for being a bad brother and I punched him in the face.

Seth finally got a girlfriend but no one liked her, she was posh, rich and smart. And my step sister. My mother remarried someone with a daughter Seth's age, who turns out to be his girlfriend, Pricilla. Seth still doesn't know that her stepmother is my mother and neither does she. It would be weird if they knew.

Cinderella and her brother became really good at acting and soon became famous at six. Their mother became lonely and sad without her fiancée around.

Turns out David is still alive he just was missing in action and he didn't want to be found, he thought it would be better if his fiancée thought he was dead, he didn't love her anymore and didn't know how to tell her. So he faked his own death and hoped he wouldn't be caught. And Daisy helped him do it, that's why she chose to go Charlie's wedding and not David's funeral. She knew he wasn't dead but she couldn't tell anyone

Daisy moved to England she lived there for a year and half before she went missing, no one knows what happened to her. She hasn't been seen since the Monday when the left to go to the grocery and never returned.  They found her car with groceries in it in the middle of a giant lake. Most believe she killed herself even though they never found a body.

Samuel was good at sports and a fast runner, at eight he had all the records at his school. He was proud of it and would always boast about it, which annoyed everyone.

Fin got into a car accident and afterwards he left. Left the city and apparently he now runs a diary farm in the south. And he's happy but his sister refuses to talk to him, something happened between them before she left with her parents to New York.

Charlie took over dads business when he retired. He sits in his office and yells at people. The business has gone downhill since Charlie took over, not that he will ever admit it. He renamed it too. And he fired everyone dad hired, saying they were no good at their job. At least he gave them good recommendations

Aunty became the head of education department in the government. She enjoyed her job at times but hated the dumb and stubborn people she was forced to cooperate with.

Mother got what she had always wanted. To be rich and popular, but she's popular in the wrong way, the only reason people talked about her was because they all hated her guts.

Me and Nathan went to university in Sydney, he became a lawyer and I became a doctor at the hospital. Neither of us saw it spoke to our families much, we we're o busy to do it even if we wanted to.
