"Where is it!" She screams

"How long do you think it will be before she realises?" Nathan asks me quietly so she can't hear us

"I give her two hours" I reply taking all her chocolate while she isn't looking "you?" I ask in return

"Probably two weeks" he says

"Yeah, maybe two years even" I say

I haven't chocolate in so long

"I though you said it would take her two hours" he says questioning my level of social ability

"I was being nice and supportive, I didn't actually mean it or believe" I tell him

"Sure ya did" he says

"You are a stupid boyfriend" I say hitting him

"How am I the stupid one? Your the one who always what day it is" he points out

"You are not supposed to argue with me if you don't want whatever drink Gem has over your face" I remind

"Why can't you use your own?" He asks me

"Because that would be wasting it" I reply

"Your wasting one either way" he says confused

"No, I'm putting it to good use unlike her, making it feel sad" I tell him and he doesn't say anything else about it

"Have either of you seen it?" She asks us a crazy look on her face

"Nope" I reply taking a bite out of chocolate cake right in front of her

"Definitely not" Nate replies deciding to have her ice cream

I have no idea where she gets this food from but I want to know

"Can you help me look then" she requests

"Nah" I say smiling happily

"Maybe later" Bate tells her and she runs off

"She is such an idiot" Nate comments

"You just realised that now did you?" I say

"I realised that before you even met her" he replies

"How is that possible? I met her before you and you moved into town the day before I met you and by then I pretty sure I had known her for a week, or something" I say and he laughs

"Your just slow on picking up things" he tells me

"No I am not" I argue

"Yes you are" he argues back

"How long is it going to take her to realise that her phone is in her hand" I say loudly but she still doesn't hear me

"A long long time" Nate replies sighing

"How long though" I say and he leans back after stealing my chocolate, which was Gem's before I stole it, from me

"Longer than it took Cinderella to realise it was nearly midnight" Nate replies

"How are you cousins ex-fiancée children?" He then proceeds to asks me

"You mean Cinderella and the other one?" I ask

"Yep" he responds

"I'm pretty sure Princess Cinderella has turned into the murderous villain who paralysed her brother" I tell him

You don't want to know what happened, but it was partially my fault since I did encourage her to play with knives and baseball bats

"How did a one year old paralyse her brother?" Nathan asks

" I have no idea" I lie "and I don't their one quite yet" I add

"When does school finish?" I ask randomly

"It finished last Friday" he replies

"Did it? I haven't noticed" I say confused

If school has officially ended for the year than why are there still teachers emailing me asking for work when they should clearly know by now that they aren't going to get it

"How did you not notice? it's been five days already" Nate questions looking at me like he thinks I have an answer for him or expects me to say anything to explain it

"I have to go" Nate says standing up

"Your leaving me alone with her?" I say, putting emphasis on 'her'

"Have fun" he says and walks off

She's going to fall and split her head open any minute now

And she just did, I think. She fell but I don't know if she's bleeding or not and frankly, I don't care. She's had t coming from the say she born. Maybe she'll finally find her stupid phone

We could've left hours ago if she was just smart enough to look in her hand

Basically because of her and her dumbness we had to break into the school to find it, and we've been here for about five hours and I'm sure we're going to caught if we don't leave in the next ten minutes

I should have left with Nate, she wouldn't have noticed if we had both left her to be arrested by the police for breaking and entering

"We need to go, Gem, we're going to be caught" I call out

"Just ten more minutes" she replies

"You said that four hours ago, it's not here" I tell her standing up

"Fine let's go" she gives in grumpily

"I will see you in eight weeks" I tell her and before she can say anything else I run away, trying not to laugh as she looks like she's going to cry about not being able to find her phone

She probably should repeat this year again, maybe she'll actually learn something other than how to escape the police the best

"How was your day?" Seth asks me

"It was good, why are you pretending to read a newspaper?" I ask him

"I'm not pretending to read it! How dare you suggest such a thing!" He exclaims dramatically

"It's upside down stupid" I tell him before walking upstairs and I hear the shuffling of papers as he corrects it
