"What's wrong?" Nathan asks after bumping into me

"I need to change classes" I stutter before rushing to the office

"How may I help you?" The lady at the desk asks looking up briefly before going back to get paperwork

"I need to be put in another maths class" I reply tapping my foot impatiently

"Why is that?" She asks sighing she seems annoyed now more than before

"The new maths teacher for my current maths class used to be my stepmother and she hates me" I explain

"That will not do" she mutters and does something on her computer not long later the printer beside it buzzes

"Here's your new timetable" she says handing me it

"Thanks" I say before exiting

"I need to change to a different math class" I tell her urgently

"Why must you?" She asks, why can't she just do it

"The new maths teacher for my current maths class used to be my stepmother" I reply

"That will not do now will it" she mutters before typing something

"Alright your new maths class is Mrs Hatter's in H107" she says handin me a new timetable

"Thank you" I say before exiting the small office

I look at my schedule and find the date and period that I'm in now

Day two Period 1 maths, Mrs Morris, H109

This will be fun, Mrs Morris is really nice and possibly one of my favourite teachers

As I walk through the doors all eyes turn to look at me

"Oh hello Mira, what are doing here?" Mrs Morris asks cheerfully

"I've just transferred into the maths class" I say trying to sound confident

"We'll take a seat, anywhere will be fine" she tells me before turning back to the board an continuing to write on it

"Can I sit here?" I ask a girl with bright red hair

"No" she says rudely, I recognise her now, Elizabeth, the most popular girl in school, I hate her.

I end up sitting at the back all alone, maybe I should have gotten Nathan to change math class as well but I don't think he would have done it, since he has friends in that class apparently though I've never seen him hang out with anyone but me and Gem but maybe I'm just bad at noticing these things

"Has everyone got it?" Mrs Morris asks? What? No I don't! I don't even know what she's talking about, I probably should have payed more attention...

Oh she was talking about the maths topics we are doing so I do understand, I have already done this section of the topic

"Yeah no" everyone says besides from me yells

"Ya" I say quietly but loud enough for people to hear which makes them all turn and look at me...very fast, they all have irritated looks on their faces, maybe they don't like people who are smarter than them, which means that they don't like anyone out of this class

"What? It really not that hard, well actually it is, I pretty much failed this entire topic, should've studied more" I half argue and everyone starts to grumble

"Now now class, Mira is incredibly stupid, and maybe just a bit smarter than you lot though" Mrs Morris says lightheartedly and a few people laugh, I don't because I don't like being called incredibly stupid

"That's not nice!" I tell up to her and she chuckles, shaking her head

"It's the truth" she replies, meanie

Then the bell rings and everyone rushes out of class including me, I am starving

"Where did you go?" Nathan asks me as I meet up with him at his locker

"Doesn't matter, food now" I say before taking of in the direction of the canteen, with him hopefully in tow

"Did you eat breakfast this morning?" He asks me looking at how much food I have

" I believe so, I'm not sure, I might not have" I say uncertain, eating the chocolate first

"So was it really necessary to buy five packets of chocolate, two packets of chips, three fruit salads, six packets of gum, seven curly wurly's, two chocolate mouses, an apple, two waffles, berries, five pancakes, four ice creams, two chocolate muffins, a blueberry muffin, a juice box and a chocolate milk?" He asks

"Yes" I say looking at him shocked, how could he suggest that all those weren't needed?

"And how much do that cost you?" He asks a second later

"A lot" I reply shrugging an he looks confused for a moment before leaning over the table looking curious

"And exactly how did you pay for the food? Because you didn't have any money on you this morning" he asks

"Oh I stole my dad's credit card on the way out when neither of you were looking" I admit and he laughs

"Well I'm sure he'll be very happy when he finds out" Nathan comments still laughing his head off

"Do you think he'll call the police?" I ask making Nathan choke on his food because I made him laugh even more

"Let's hope so" Gem says plopping down next to me

"Do you even know what we are talking about?" I ask her

"Nope" she answers

"Are you going to share all that?" She asks

"Yeah are you?" Nathan says after hearing that

No way, why would I?" I reply wrapping my arms around my food to protect it

"No reason, just thought you might not be able to et all that, how did you even pay for that?" Gem asks me

"She stole her dad's credo card" Nathan informs her

"Want to go shopping this afternoon?" Gem asks me after she stops laughing

"Yeah sure" I say

"I can't believe your actually going to do this to him" Nathan says

"Why wouldn't I? It's not like he'll punish me for it" I say

"He won't?" Gem asks shocked

"Nope, I'm his favourite, you should see what I have accomplished in the past ten years" I reply smiling at them

"What have I gotten myself into" Nathan mutters, slamming his head down onto the table

"Who knows" me and Gem tell him smiling evilly

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I've been on exchange for the past week and before that I had so much on, so hopefully I'll be able to update more regularly now since school is pretty much over and we don't actually have classes or homework
