Calum

I walked into school with one thought this morning; I want to know that gingers name. She has been on my mind since yesterday, and I'm not really sure why. I rushed to chem, just to see if she sat in my spot. "Calum!" I hear Luke's  voice from behind. I groan and turn around, "what?"

"You left your phone in Michael's truck."

"Oh. Uhh thanks." I grab it from his hands and put it in my back pocket. I try to turn around but he stopped me. "Why are you such in a rush?"

"I'm not always late to my classes."

"Something fishy is going on here." He gives me a 'I'm going to find out' look. The bell rings, "great." I turn and run up the stairs to chem.

By the time I get there I'm out of breath and sweating. I take the seat next to the mystery girl, since she's in my spot again. "Morning." I say with a smile. She looks at me then looks back to the front. "Not a morning person?"

"Did I not make it clear yesterday we won't talk to each other."

"Should have thought of that before you sat in my seat." I smirk. She opened her mouth to say something but the teacher stood up with a clipboard. Yes! Of course the attendance, she'll have to say here when her name gets called. I just smile to myself waiting until her name to come up.

"Calum."

"Yup."

There was a few names after mine, which were sort of familiar. "Taylor."

I watch her as she takes a deep breath. "Here." Her voice is small. "Taylor. I like it."

She turns her head to meet my gaze. "Why are you so interested?" I just shrug my shoulders in response. I'm not lying really, I'm not sure why I am so into this girl already I don't know her. "Come to a party." I blurt out.

"No way." She shakes her head.

"Why not?"

"That's not my kind of scene."

"Have you ever been to one?" I question.

"Yes."

"Well you've never been to one with Calum Hood."

"Yeah no thanks." She snorts.

"I'm truly hurt." I grab my heart.

"Suck it up pretty boy."

I chuckle at her words. "Did you just call me a pretty boy?"

"Sure did."

"At least I'm not the only one flirting here."

"I wasn-"

"Okay class grab your notebooks, and get ready for some notes." The teacher cuts her off.

"Ms. Cane, I'm sorry to interrupt your class but I need Calum." My head shoots up to find Michael standing by the door.

"May I ask why?" She questions.

"You may, but I can't tell you why."

"Can't it wait?"

"No ma'am."

"Then no."

"Please Ms. Cane." He begged. She shook her head.

"I really need him, you have no idea how much." He begged.

She let out a long sigh, "very well."

I scrambled up from my desk grabbing my binder. "Till next time." I whisper to Taylor.

I make way to Michael and he leads me out of the class room. "What's so important you had to pull me out of class?" I ask once we were a far distance from my class. Michael turns around but continues to walk backwards. "First of all you're welcome for pulling you out of that class in the first place. And second party got canceled at Ben's." He turns around to walk forward again.

"Okay. I don't get what that has to do with me." I sounded a bit irritated, which I didn't mean to. But he couldn't have pulled me out when I was in math or something. I only have one class with Taylor, so I would like to have my time and try and get her to like me.

"So, change of plans. We are going to have it Ashton's, grumpy pants."

"Sorry." I mumbled.

I now realized that we have reached the outdoors. "I still don't get what this has to do with me."

"You're coming with me to convince Harry to buy us booze."

"Why me?"

"Because he likes you? Stop asking so many questions and get in the damn truck." He orders.

"Fine." I huff.

I shut the door as soon as I'm in. "Usually someone would be happy to get pulled from class. What's wrong?"

"Nothing. It's all good." I smile.

Why the hell am I trying to be angry? It shouldn't matter to me if I'm around her or not. I don't know really know anything about her; just that she's sassy and her name is Taylor. I think it would be easier if she wasn't so pretty. I can usually take no as an answer, but when it comes to her I just want her to want me. Maybe I'm over thinking this all. I can have plenty of girls that want me. If she doesn't want anything to do with me, then I shouldn't try so hard. Ugh! I've only somewhat known her for a day, and I'm thinking about life decisions. This girl may mean trouble for me. Not sure if it's a good or bad thing.
