Taylor

As soon I was walked into the classroom I handed in the papers that Calum and I should have worked on together. I walked to the back of the room to a empty desk. After sinking into the seat I pull out my phone and roam on twitter. As I scroll down on my timeline Tate's name comes up, so I click on her profile so I could creep her. I see a picture of her and Adrian posing with cups in their hands.

@tate_: party vibes. @aidrianx

I click on her name and my finger hovers over the follow button. I just quickly tap it before I change my mind.

The bell rings causing me to tuck my phone into my binder. Calum strolls in class with a smile on his face. He looks at the empty desk where I use to sit, and his smile fades a bit. His eyes meet mine and he smiles again taking his old desk back.

It's good to know whatever was going on is done now, and don't have to deal with Calum Hood.

Two weeks later

It's been going pretty smooth the couple of weeks; mostly just getting my classes pack down. "Hey Taylor." Aidrian smiles as she walks past me. "Hey." I reply and I keep walking. Turns out she doesn't hate me and now we are kind of close.

I open the doors of school; the wind whips my face blowing my hair back. I tug my jacket tighter around me, and continue walking the direction of my house. The wind picks up quickly, and little rain drops start falling. This only causes my walking speed to increase. I feel goose bumps rising up on my skin. I only have four more blocks left; I just keep walking with my head down trying to get home into the warmth.

When I'm eight houses away from mine it just starts pouring down on me, and I make a run for it. I make it to my drive way, as I lift my head I see someone sitting on my steps in the poring rain. I feel the rain pounding down on me; I realize that I'm just standing there. I walk up the path to my steps. "Calum?" I question. He lifts his head at the sound of my voice. He's soaking wet and his eyes are blood shot. "Taylor." He whispers. He stands up with much difficulty. I walk up the steps into my porch so the water isn't getting me more wet than I already was. "What are you doing here?" I question. "I'm sorry..." He slurs.

"Are you drunk?"

He just nods in response.

"Jesus Calum it's only three fifty on a Friday."

He doesn't say anything. He just makes his way right in front of me. He stares down at me from our height difference (which wasn't too bad)

Water drops down on his face from his hair. "I'm sorry."

"Stop saying that."

He opens his mouth to say something but he quickly closes it. All I can hear is the rain pounding on top of everything. I start to shiver from being wet and the wind was really strong. Calum and I are just staring at each other, and at this point I'm not really sure what to do. He closes his eyes slowly then opens them. A tear escapes his eye. "Calum are you okay?"

He shakes his head. Right then and there he breaks down in front of me. The Calum that makes stupid jokes, who's ego is so big, is not standing in front of me. So I did what any person would do; I wrapped my arms around him pulling him so close to me. "I hate my life Taylor." He sobs into me. I rub his back and squeeze him tighter. After a few moments just standing on my porch like that I decide to speak. "Lets go inside and you can change into dry clothes and I'll make us hot chocolate." I suggest. He nods his head. I pull back and he follows me into my warm house. "I'll go get some of my dads clothes, you can go to the washroom and shower or whatever." He nods again. This is really not like Calum. I want to ask him more questions about what he meant, but if he wanted me to know he would tell me? But I also don't seem like I'm trying to pry. I go into my parents room and I find my dads dresser. I pull out sweat pants and a black shirt. I walk over to bathroom door and place a soft knock on it. Calum opens the door with no shirt on, and I swear if this wasn't a serious moment my mouth would drop open and the clothes I'm holding for him would be on the ground. He has a few tattoos in full view and his muscles look so nice since he was slightly wet. "Uhh here's your clothes." I had them to him and walk away before I do something stupid. I just want to understand the science behind how incredibly attractive that boy is. I run up stairs and strip down in my own bathroom and start up a hot shower. Calum and I are technically showering together. Did you seriously just think that?
