Taylor

I stare up at my plain white ceiling with my hands resting on my stomach. This week has gone by so fast but it was one of the worst weeks ever. Started off when Calum walked away from me when I went in for a kiss. Which hurt a bit. Is he embarrassed to be seen with me? I was going to ask him these questions, but he completely ignored me. Which hurt a lot. I've tried calling him and texting him, but he doesn't return neither. So here I lay on a friday evening by myself with my thoughts. Does this mean he doesn't want to try anymore with me? Ughh I just don't know what to think anymore, and its really frustrating me.

My phone starts buzzing and I jump up so fast that I trip. It takes me moment to realize what just happen before I get back up. I'm hoping it's the brown eyed scruffy hair boy that occupies my mind constantly. I pick up to find it's Tate calling, a little disappointed yes. I slide my finger across the screen and lift it up to my ear.

"Hello."

"Hey! What are you doing?" She sounds too happy for my mood.

"Nothing why?"

"Come to a party!"

"Not tonight sorry." I'm in no mood to be around people at the moment.

"I want to hang out with you though." She sounds a bit disappointed in my answer.

"I would like that but not at a party." I take a seat on the side of my bed waiting for her reply.

"Hmm. Have you eaten yet?"

"Nope."

"Okay I'm bringing pizza and I'll come hang out with you before I go."

"Sounds good."

"Okay see ya." She hangs up before I could say anything else.

I can't help but wonder if Calum will be there tonight.

"Taylor!!" Tate screams while she enters my house. I jump a bit at her sudden loudness but I chuckle slightly. "In the kitchen." I call out. She walks in with a box of pizza and I huge smile on her face. "Anxious?" I let out a laugh. She was instantly making my mood much better. "Shut up."

She opens the box grabbing a slice, and shoving it into her mouth. I soon follow after her.

"How are things?" She takes a seat next to me.

"Alright, you?"

"What's got you down?"

I'm not really sure I want to tell her about Calum. It's not that I'm embarrassed, it's more that I don't want to be judged. But at the end of the day it shouldn't matter.

"Well I've kind of been seeing someone..." I trail.

"What! Who?!" Her face lights up and she's way too excited.

"Well please don't judge me." Her face drops instantly.

"Please tell me it's not Calum."

"Well-"

"No Taylor!"

"What? Why?"
