Taylor
I'm really dreading the moment that Calum walks through that door. The way we kind of left things yesterday, I don't want to talk to him. I also really haven't told Tate these weird encounters with him, I don't want her to lecture me more on why I should stay away from him. "Morning." I hear a deep voice. My head snaps up to find Calum standing in front of my desk. He's wearing his usual tight black skinny jeans with a black sleeveless top that shows the tattoo that just sits under his collar bone. I just give him a small smile, scared I might say something stupid. It makes it so hard to hate on him when he's so freaking attractive.
He pulls his desk next to mine with a cheeky smile, and for a split second I forget that I don't like him. He smirks at me, "I know I'm gorgeous you don't have to drool."
He opens his mouth. That's all he has to do is open his mouth and say something like that to remind me I don't like him. "Okay class get working on your labs."
I grab the sheets from my binder skimming through it, to figure out what we need to do. I can feel a set of eyes on me. My eyes glance into Calum's and he's staring at me. "What?"
"We are partners."
"I know, and?"
"Well that means we work together. I'm not sure what to do so, yeah."
"Oh." Is all I manage to say. I look down at my paper again reading the paragraph. I nod my head knowing what I have to do. I almost forget that Calum is sitting beside me. "I almost forgot you were there."
"Well I had to be quiet."
"Why?"
"So you can figure what we have to do."
"Right."
"So?" He questions.
"So, what?"
"Did you find out what we need to do?"
"Oh, yeah."
"That is?"
"We need to find out which inter molecular force is the weakest between methanol, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol and distilled water." Calum stares at me for a moment. "Okay, how do we do that?"
"We have to time the how long it takes to evaporate."
He nods his head. "Let's go grab our materials."
Calum follows me to the front grabbing the little glass bowls, while I grabbed the liquids and the small pipette. A blonde girl starts smiling at Calum while she grabs the stuff she needs, he winks her way causing her to blush. I roll my eyes walking back to my desk.
I lay out all everything that I have waiting for Calum to return. He's still up at the front now talking to the girl. I sigh. "Calum!" I call out. His head turns and his gaze meets mine, he looks a bit pissed.
He says something to girl before returning back to me. "Why would you do that?"
"I would like to get my work done thank you very much."
"You're a horrible wingman."
"I'm not here to be one."
I grab the small glass bowls from his desk placing them on mine. "Why are you always on edge? Like I'm scared to talk to you without biting my head off."
"I'm not answering that question."
"Why not?"
"Because I don't want to okay?" I snap.
He puts his hands up, "okay."
"Here you're going to be in control of the timer, can you handle that?"
