Taylor
I sat in the regular spot that I have been the last few days, remembering Calum making a big deal out of it. I was expecting him to keep fighting me, but it still hasn't happened.
The bell rings and everyone piles into the classroom filling up desks. "Good morning class." Ms Cane says in a very chirpy high pitch voice. Obviously way too excited for it being Thursday morning. "Alright so I need you to-" Ms Cane stops talking when Calum strolls into the classroom. Her face turns into a sour expression as she glares at Calum. "Nice to see you can make it on time."
"Anything to make you happy." He smiles taking the desk next to mine. A scowl is set on her face as she stares at him. "As I was saying before I got rudely interrupted, I would like for you to get a partner and you'll come up with a lab. Once you come up with all the steps and everything you need, you will then perform the lab and write up a lab report." She announces. She walks over to her desk full of papers everywhere and searches, she then picks up a pile of blue ones. "Okay what I'm handing out is the criteria on how I'll be marking you."
As of this moment I really don't want to do anything. I'm usually a student that is passionate about work and look forward to do doing my assignments, but I just don't feel it all. "I think you're old enough to pick your own partners."
"Taylor be my partner." I hear Calum say from beside me.
"I didn't hear you ask nicely."
"Will you please be my partner?" He asks in a much nicer tone. I start looking around the room for anyone else other then Calum, but as the looks of it everyone is paring up. "It looks like you don't have much of a choice." He smirks.
"Alright. But I'm not doing all the work." I sigh.
"What makes you think I don't do my work?"
"I was just telling you don't get all worked up."
He slides his desk to mine, and I'm engulfed in his cologne; which smells incredible.
"I didn't see you at the party." Calum states.
"Yeah, I told you I wasn't coming."
"Well I thought I could change your mind."
"What makes you so special?"
"I'm Calum Hood."
His ego is making me want to punch him in his god damn pretty face. I'm not going to lie he is very attractive, but his attitude just sucks. "So."
He has look on his face clearly stating that no one has talked to him like this before. It's like he expects people to bow down to him. That will not happen with me, absolutely not.
"You are not a morning person are you?"
"Are serious?"
He nods, obviously confused by my reaction.
I just shake my head afraid that I'll say some really mean stuff. It's like he doesn't even think he's being so cocky, and it bothers me, a lot. The bell rings and I shoot up from my seat and bolt out of the room. I hear my name getting called but I just walk faster to my next class.

Calum
I walk into the lunch room taking my spot at the table. Luke greets me with a smile which I slightly returned. "What's wrong?" He asks. "Nothing." I answer.
Truth is I'm upset because Taylor was acting like I did something wrong, which I don't think I did. I don't want to care, I just want to say whatever and move on and not care about what she thinks. But it's just bothering me.
"Something is wrong, could you just tell us?" Michael takes a bite of his pizza.
"I'm okay, really."
They all give me a look, but shrug it off. Ashton starts talking about something I'm not sure because I don't really listen. My attention adverts to a ginger that's walking towards the exit. "I'll be back guys." I say getting up and jogging out of the cafeteria. I look down the hallway seeing Taylor walking a reasonable pace. "Taylor!" I call out. She turns her head around and her eyes meet mine. She rolls her eyes and keeps walking forward. I catch up to her, sort of out of breath.
"Can you stop?"
She actually does and stares at me waiting for me to say something. "Why are you being like this?"
"Being like what?"
"I don't know, pissy and acting like I did something wrong."
"Why do you care?"
"I don't." I lie.
"Then why are standing here?"
I shrug my shoulders. "See you in chem, Calum." She walks past me, and I say nothing.
I actually I don't really care. I can't make her like me. She has a sour attitude anyways, I like easy going girls. I just wanted to fuck her and that's it. I start my way back to the cafeteria, and in the back of my head I know that I was just trying to convince myself that was what I was going to do. I barely know this girl, but I just want to get to know her. There's just something about her that makes her very different. She didn't throw herself at me, and even when I was using what I would to usually get girls, she wasn't interested. Maybe she doesn't like the way I act, heck I don't like the way I act. But that's what I'm known for I just can't change because of her, right?
