I love watching you snuggle in bed,
The way you can only fall asleep on your back,
How you spread out,
How you start to fall asleep.
I love seeing you fall asleep,
The way your muscles tense and relax,
How your facial expressions change,
How your legs and feet twitch,
Your stomach begins to rise and fall - slowly,
The way your grip loosens,
And occasionally tightens,
How you eventually slip into a peaceful slumber
I love watching you sleep,
You toss and turn,
You groan and moan,
You mumble,
And that one time you cried,
You hug me with all your might - in your sleep,
I love the way you make adorable faces.
I love that when you wake up,
You have no idea what just happened,
That you can't even remember what you were dreaming.
I just love every minuscule detail about you, I'm sorry for sounding like a creep, but you are my world -
And I love the way you sleep.
